you cheeky git! thing is you never know what me you he has done so saying you can insure a heavily modified car is speculation you can do it as easy as you cant do it...i thing you need to check the insurance before you start fiddling so much with a car... on another note insurance companies shouldnt be profit making organisations...insurance is obligatory Indeed, I checked with my insurance company before ordering my s/c to make sure they would cover it. They wouldn't so I found someone who would I think that you should get insurance money back at the end of the year if you don't have any claims

So how does that effect other people? Obviousley there are specialists who will insure it, they just won't insure you

I'm assuming that you have no idea just how much louder 20dB over the stock JDM box would actually be? To give you a hint, every 3dB is a DOUBLING of volume, so if the stock 'box was 90dB then 93dB would be twice as loud, and 96dB would be twice as loud as that and so on...! So what does that make my 122DB ...fighter jet loud ... That was before the s/c went on, its even louder now

Don't know, my car has been decated (except for about 6months where I run high flows) since about a week after buying it This was it with 100cel sport cats & y-pipe Wasn't as loud as my Nur spec was

It only gets really loud if your silly (like me) & decat it and remove the mid pipe silencer
