Doesnt sound good! I dont think the car driver can claim not to have seen them, Goldwings are massive!!! On the flip side though, Goldwings should not be filtering they are about as wide as a car! True though, take it easy in the sun

^^^ what he said. If you are talking about importing one now, then there is no real point, you can get plenty of cars that are already in the UK cheaper. If you are talking about cars already in the country, then do as Andy says and just get the cheapest. Mods I'd be looking at are decent rubber, new suspension, brakes (braided lines, racing fluid, decent pads and discs), ARBs, seats + harnesses, then engine mods and chasis bracing.

I'm curious how the times compare from spec to spec for the standard cars. Mine is a MY'03, so 276 nominal. So how much better do the MY'06 and MY'07 standard cars do on the quarter mile, given the additional power? Anyone generated a table of 1/4 mile times? Too many variables to be entirely accurate however I'm sure the 313 would be a bit quicker. +1 - the 03-05 have more low down torque so would be just as quick as the 06. The 07+ are a new engine., so would be slightly quicker, but its mainly down to the driver. Only having the same driver doing all 3 would prove anything, and even then it would take loads of runs to get a realistic average. In the real world, there is no real difference.

Nice work. You hands must feel like they are still vibrating from the polisher. Sounds like you had a right bag of trouble with that paint! I cant comment on the stuff polished bliss do, but DD SN looks absoutely amazing on my GM Zed. I know I bang on about it all the time, but the difference to P21S was outstanding as it makes the flecks pop (never really saw pop with P21S, or what I thought was pop, really wasnt!). Really need to try it to see the difference

I would guess the sender has gone mad. Maybe try and get a new sender. Dont know how hard they are to fit, but Alex may be able to lend you one to see if it solves your problem.

I wouldnt hold go live to add the garage, just do it as a future mod. The new software has a lot to offer that we can really use, so lets get it going

Does seem to be a lack of interest this year. JapFest is one of the main ones I usually do, but it clashes with Wales this year JTS@Silverstone will hopefully still be on, thats a good show with some drifiting and time attack. And track time if you fancy it. I will probably do a session this year having been twice and wossied out of it twice.

Depends what you are coming from as to if it will "feel" quick. It is a quick car, not any slower than a stock Evo. But the torque curve is so flat, and the power is so relentless, you dont realise how quick you are going. Takes a bit of getting used to and some find its boring as it never hits you in the back of the head with acceleration. But get it up onto its toes and its brilliant

Any idea on the go-live date? Looks great btw Not long bud. Most of the major problems have been worked out. I think theres only one show stopper outstanding, and a few little tweaks needed they we're good to go (so next week perhaps, so long as the solutions can be found)
