There are a lot more features for the Admin team to help keep things running smoothly. Notably around the number of connections from IPs which was slowing the old site down. As rob mentioned we also have new powers to ban people (temp or permenant) and a few more. From the user side of things, I dont think much is new to play with other than more fancy options for colours and the like.

Should be noted that in that pic Ben took its actually Fly HP and AFR The MLR chaps were most impressed with the torque curve, giving a nice amount of power right from the off and pulling nicely to about 5500RPM. Just wish we could get some nice results from tuning without mega money. Ben and the team were certainly very welcoming and seemed to look after the cars very well, certainly better than a few places I have been to in the past, especially in the prep department.

Yup, yank it off and stick a new one back on. If you are really daring you can remove the mount and stick the plate onto the bumper direct, looks much neater

Am I right in thinking that you have just bought it with that MPG reading, that I am afraid to say means nothing. Every car I have sold a day or two before the sale I have reset the trip computer and driven very carfully, like stupidly carful, and then when they view the car they see the mpg is high and make the same assumption that you did that the car has only ever been driven by my gran! Thats why you reset it and take it for a drive

My mate Ben (MAD7BOY) and MLR recently invited me along to a RR day at Eurospec 2000 in Guildford - http://www.euro-spec2000.co.uk/ Had a thoroughly wonderful day, loads of nice Evo's plus my lowly little Zed in the corner. I think I made a good name for us N/A boys, shocking them all with the looks and lovely flat torque curve of the Zed. The guys at Eurospec were very good, giving everyones car a race prep (check fluids, make sure car is nice and warm, check tyre pressures, fit knock sensor/listener and even fixed any little problems that the others had - obviously my Zed was perfect ) before strapping them on the rollers. Its a great place they've got there, in a pretty massive unit! Can fit at least 20 cars in there. I ended up making 228WHP and 278BHP/240ft-lbs at the fly. Torque seems a bit down compared to some, but dont get how as I made stock BHP with it being down, I think it might have been wheel torque in reality which was quoted as fly which would give me the right figures when fudged Anyway, the bits you all like, photies! (vid to follow at some point) All ready and waiting: Bens Evo going up Bens Evo being prepped And... action! My turn (needed some wood to clear the lip Just about makes it .... Test Run And the results after 2 runs... nearly there... (note its BHP and AFR) Will post up the proper graphs when I get home and take a pic of them All in it was a good day, and the guys were throroughly nice and helpful. If anyone around the Guildford area wants a dyno run or work doing on the Zed, they seem very good at what they do. Didnt manage to ask about servicing prices, but I think they said labour was about £50+VAT an hr so not to bad at all.

Keep it up Chris, it looks pretty functional to me. Only problem I have at the moment is that smilies and quotes arent working in this thread but are working other places

I would need to know an exact price before moving on it. At £30-£35, I'd be in but at £48 I'd be out. +1 I completely understand guys. Unfortunately I can't give an exact exact price due to currency fluctuations and not knowing what rate PayPal are going to give us but I can give an indication as we go on and people join (hopefully). I've got a couple of definites plus me at the moment which gives a price of roughly £39 + UK P&P. This is based on $40 per pedal + $50 / 3 shipping and using the exchange rates on Yahoo (PayPal may be worse). One more would bring it down to something like £36 + P&P, 2 more £34.50 + P&P and so on. TBH it was the numbers north of £40 that were putting me off. If it stays around £35 then I'm still in I paid Adam about a week ago and the exchange rate was fine from what I remember, about the same as XE.com which I used to convert the original quote.

Theres a few young-uns on here about that age, at least sub 30s anway, and I'm only 26 First off check out the many FAQs on the forums, that will answer your questions on the different specs and also give you the names of the import versions if you come across any imports on your travels. As for Nissan, yes they are useless! Most of them deal with Micras day in day out, so what do you expect lol! They are also pants WRT test drives. Although ring around and you might find somewhere. I was told <25yrs old cant test drive them (I was 24 when I got mine), but Dan Perkins in Slough let me. So keep rining around or try a private sell, they may let you drive it if you bring proof of the trade insurance. The car can feel a bit slow, but its all very deceptive. We had a recent thread on it. As the torque curve is so flat, there is no burst of power so you dont feel that kick to get off a turbo/supercharged car. You are going quicker than you know if before you realise though. I was at a RR day with the MLR on Satuday and you'll be amazed at the amount of respect the uber flat Zed torque curve got compared to their laggy turbo graphs It is a heavy car and will no doubt be slower than the Mini you have now, but its much more a cruiser and very capable at higher speeds than hot hatches and the like. And you can tell your other half that at least with a Zed you dont need to fill it up with oil every 5 minutes Get out and drive one and you'll see why we love it

Oh in the vid it said Pulsar engine. Does the Pulsar use the SR20DE? I wouldnt have a clue

I tried asking 10 different ways but they wouldn't say if pricing is changing or not unfortunately LoL typical Nissan! I cant see the price dropping though, so I still think we should close it in time and if theres still demand maybe have a new one with the new price

Ex biker here too (or just between bikes - not sure ), completely agree with you. Yup same here and totally agree. My R6 has been off the road for about a year now, and I'm not sure I'll get it back on again. Just dont find the time to get up at silly o'clock to go out for a ride, which is what you have to do if you want to miss any traffic and get a nice relaxing ride.

For the polisher, a Halfords special would be good for applying glazes and waxes, but not a lot else. If you want a real polisher, try the Kestrel (matt@i4detailing sells it). I used it on my Zed with the starter pack and the difference is pretty astounding. Wax makes the flecks pop properly in the sun
