  1. I hand over at 9 AM as I am working. would I be allowed in? Contact Rob (H5) direct so you can ask him. You probably arent meant to be allowed in, but they might be able to make a concession if we tell them in advance
  2. From what I've seen of it, it is a very good fit. Hopefully Mark can post up some pics of some edges to let you see
  3. Indeed. Dont think I would be posting up if it were me
  4. I find leaving it on a radiator, in the sun, a warm car (thats in the sun) or the airing cupboard prior to application can help warm and soften it up a bit. (or leave it on top of my 1000w work light in the garage )
  5. They stick on top of the OEM trim
  6. Didnt Adam say the long one was best for the Zed due to the distance to the bar? Hope I'm wrong
  7. http://www.led.net/products/ProductsDetails.aspx?WP=C421K446#1485 after a really quick search so at least we know they exsist. problem is if they are surface mount adding in any kind of control for the tri colour will be difficult <--optimistic anyone know where there is a pic of the instrument cluster with the front ripped off? Yes I think you will struggle with tri-colour SMDs as they have 6 legs whereas the standard ones have 4, and obviously the PCB has 4 holes too. I guess you might be able to mount them off the PCB, but space will no doubt be tight! I'm 99% sure that the LEDs in the speedo cluster are SMDs too.
  8. Acree thats the guy Unfortunately, since starting to do this as a business, he's stopped answering specific questions of which LEDs to use
  9. What have you compared it to Mark? Seems like a good deal at half RRP (only a 1/3rd of the cost of the DD SN2 I got )
  10. The guy that originally did it (forget his name) now does it as a business. I think he had it down to about 12hrs work Its a lot of soldering and very complicated small SMD LEDs by the sounds of it
  11. A large number of members use inderpendants and have no problems with them what so ever. They are usually quite a bit cheaper than Nissan, but saying that, the Nissan near my work (Dan Perkins Slough) give me a decent discount, so compete quite well with inderpendants. Where abouts are you based? I'm sure some local members will have some oppinions for you
  12. Let us know how you get on! You'll need tri-colour SMD LEDs if they even exist! I'm pretty sure the LEDs in the dash are SMD LEDs not normal 3 or 5mm jobbies
  13. Yes Opie are around these parts too, so you can still get good quality stuff at a good price. He will let you know what you need. As for using oil, mine hasnt used a drop between services for 2yrs now. I check regularly, but it doesnt ever drop noticably.
  14. But equally, if you paid nothing for them, then you havent lost anything, so dont see why you are getting so angry! Find out off EBC what other cars they will fit and flog them on ebay for those cars. Sorted
  15. Think its just Martins old one isnt it? But yes be careful with fuel, its very fussy. Not more running on 95RON if you cant find 99RON/optimax, you have to find it!
  16. If it were me and Alex was warning me off it, I'd stay well away
  17. Sure they will fit a more suitable car bud, they Brembo callipers must have been used in other lighter cars. CS suggests integras are a possibility. Sure EBC could confirm which other cars are fitted with the same callipers and you can sell them for those cars, so all is not lost
  18. I beleive EBC retracted the use of Greenstuff on 350z as the weight of the car means it puts too much stress on the pads.
  19. I'm happy with that price and would prefer to use Adam in case anything does go wrong as we know he will sort it
  20. Radio controls will probably work, but I dont think cruise control will. I got a wheel off ebay for £50, so worth a punt if you can source one
  21. I have to +1 that (sorry mate!) I was weight saving All sorted now anyway Good good
