  1. Just use the plugs from the original, thats what I did
  2. Its all down to money mate, brighter LEDs cost more to produce and inherently need better circuitry to run it etc. I have a CREE powered torch at home, it only has a single LED and is massively bright! Cheap and easy to product lights use inferior LEDs. I found that out too, I went through 3-4 sets before finding those ones on eBay that work. I would suggest you take Sparky up on his (excellent) offer, just in case. It took about 10 days for my last set to arrive, dont want you to miss out on the MOT because of the postie!
  3. Sorry to hear this Jerry, hope all goes well and you are back in Zed ownership before you know it
  4. Unfortuantely the only chap that used to hold the LED bulbs in stock in the UK is no longer trading. The ones on eBay as Mike posted are spot on, mine has been through 2 MOTs with one now. Unfortunately they do come from HK/China. They do come in pairs though, so you migth be able to find someone with one already - I gave my spare to Lexx for his
  5. Try Andy for some spiggot rings, he saved my life last time - top chap
  6. Looking good Mitz. Amazing what differnce there is between them and mine in only 5mm offset difference (and 18" vs 19"), those sit soo much nicer
  7. WHOOP! Nice one buddy, you will be having kittens by the time Friday comes! What a great new toy for the weekend I cant stand the wait I am having for mine
  8. Thats true. I remember talk of others stuggling to find somewhere to fit them, and having to dremel it themselves
  9. Oh Amy, thats gutting! Cant believe you've waited all that time and its still not right, and on the smallest of last things to do! And they didnt even tell you! I think definately the garage should pick up the tab for it as they messed it up - new bonnet and latches and somewhere else to install them. One things for sure, no one on here will be going anywhere near them for work
  10. Yeh, the Cayman S is a nice solid car but to me just doesn't look as special as the 370z and is certainly a lot more common. I did consider one though and they drive beautifully! Yup was a close call for me too, almost had a Cayman S second hand if it wasnt for this place and the service I got when WLMG got a car in to test drive. Admittedly I had written them off until G chased me up. If you do plan to head down there, ask for G or Abid and tell them we sent you and that you have travelled a good distance to get a test drive. The roads around Slough arent exactly amazing, but they should be able to find you somewhere to open her up
  11. Ditto WLMG in Slough, and they offer a club discount on servicing. West Way Basingstoke are pants and KJM in Reading were a bit mediocre.
  12. Ah I see, in that case go for it, will look really good Make sure you check out our meets section and get along to a few of the shows this year, always good to meet new owners.
  13. Didnt realise you did them in black Andy, might have some off you come July
  14. Hi and Make sure you post up an intro with piccies when you get it For spacers, CS (one of our traders on here) will be able to source them I'm sure. Try his section in the Traders section. As for the wheels, I'm sure they would look great in a slightly darker colour, not sure I could do that to a brand spanking new set of wheels though. I love the look of dark coloured wheels, hence why I have a Black Edition on the way
  15. Nice one Andy, will be good to see your car on display if you make it
  16. Yep the same will happen as last time, posts will drop through the floor, members will mope around, people resort to comparing the tensile strength of their aftermarket sideskirts as they are that bored, WW3 will kick off as no one is there to tell them to STFU and the OC goons will run riot as you lot are too gay to ban them. It will be a shame when you get eventually get bored of this place and leave.
  17. We need to work out what percentage that is down to you and bill you for it Pay me for keeping this place afloat you mean Shall we ban you for a month this time and see what happens to the stats? All in the name of science of course
  18. Plenty of aftermarket ones available, I'll let the traders sort that. Be warned that your OEM ones are unlikely to fit though, if they are anything like the Rota GTRs. My wheel nuts were far too big and had to get a set of slimline ones like the 5Zigens
  19. We need to work out what percentage that is down to you and bill you for it
  20. Yes and no. Z-Club is a massive Z car club, specialising in all Zeds of all ages, not just the 350z/370z like here. We have good affiliations with them and often do shows with them. In the past, due to poorer turnout from this club at Japfest, we just ordered tickets via their forum. This time I believe we will be doing a mass booking with them, so your interaction will be with us. Will confirm shortly
  21. +1 dont be put off by any negative images you have in your head of these meets being geeky, chavvy or whatever. Its a great social event, solidifies friendships you have made on the forum and is generally a great day out. Its always great to see a standard Zed, as it still looks amazing and shows the punters extactly how it comes from the factory, a great contrast to some of our slightly and highly modified examples Be warned though, its a slipply slope, before long you will be attending every meet you can
  22. Didnt know they had released anything for the 370z - any info?
