  1. If you set it right. All it does is dull your throttle inputs, so if you are constantly on and off the throttle it will average it out a bit. Nothing you couldnt do with good throttle finesse
  2. Members with less than 5 posts cant use PMs
  3. Dont worry, I'll break it again soon enough to make everyone feel at home
  4. Congrats, thats a perfectly positioned sticker that car has
  5. That would normally have a good few ??????? on the end too
  6. Are you sure? If its not happening any more then I think we can leave it
  7. A typical post from our bezzy mate: still wondering Call it afiver delv. ????????? say what?!
  8. Yeah but what should I buy next??????????????? Or what??????????????? Gottal love that kid Reminising about Phil - said nutter called while I was havin my plenum spacer fitted. It was about 10am and Phil said it was about the 4th or 5th time he had called that day. Funnuily enough he didnt take that call
  9. Edited for accuracy. It's not a will, it's a may, and you may be prosecuted for being 1mph over the limit. And equally you may not be done for doing 85+ on the motorway - its still down to the copper that catches you doing and how unsafe they percieve it to be. Most coppers have good common sense and if its safe, they will give you a bit of slack
  10. I got told to do that at Thruxton, but never could nail the timing for a 5k shift point, always seemed to go over, hmmm
  11. Basically if you cant afford the extra cost of Super, you shouldnt really have a 350z If you can afford it, put it in and forget about it
  12. Ah good man, you are most likely right, I will go check the settings. I think the team are exempt from those measures so would be why I cant ever recreate it EDIT: That is most likely it, registered users can only search once every 5 seconds. I've lowered it to 3 seconds, I think that should be enough tbh
  13. Afternoon campers - anything to report? Site has been super speedy for me, but I'm privillaged at home to have low contention 40MB connection and ~80MB at work, so its a slightly bias view InnoDB has removed the locking problem. I've currently got a copy of MONyog at home waiting to be tested, this should help us itentify any problems from now on
  14. F'in annoying when that happens. I find Fedex are the best I've seen so far for getting it through customs in no time at all.
  15. Good call. Cant be Stormhorse can it
  16. Oh dear mate, thats no good. You need to move to England, we get things next day from Alex
  17. Congrats - title amended. So are you after a 350z now?
  18. Maybe Abbey can advise us of what exactly the "high det map" does, as thats what you're likely to be running putting 95RON in.
  19. Need to stick to 1st and 2nd then
  20. 14 days in England I'm 99% sure, not sure about Scotland if its any different
  21. For those that run 95RON all the time, RTFM - I'm sure it states only to run 95RON in emergencies and even then get Super back in it ASAP. Just because you cant feel it loosing power doesnt mean bad things arent going on. I will leave you to google what happens when you run a car on high det map all the time, its not good. You may be lucky and the car may run "ok" but you may also be left with a nice bill as Bennett says. The car is tuned to run 98+, so why try and be cheap and put less in? It thinks it has 98RON in it, and when it doesnt its constantly winding back the timing, but it only knows to do that because it gets det and winds back the timing
  22. MyAlloys ( http://www.myalloys.co.uk/ ) Think they are still open. Ron and Marion are great, tell them Chris with the 350z and gold wheels sent ya Not sure they are £50 a pop these days, but they are certainly competitive.
  23. I would be more worried about the filter being of substandard quality. Looking at other stuff produced by Japspeed, most of it doesnt fit properly (exhausts and headers come to mind) and the fact they were removed from the forum about a year ago for poor performance, I dont think I'd be going anywhere near them ( viewtopic.php?f=16&t=37849 )
