Well worth stretching your budget if you can, better to have the car now and enjoy it than wait for them to get ever cheaper and have time without it. I got my 370z spanking new and so happy that I did than wait the 18-24 months its taken them to drop to a price where I would justify one second hand.

Just a generation? Seems to me that there are a few generations now that are caught in this. Been talking to folks about this at work and seems I am in the minority when it comes to being heavy handed. They all think its unfair to use heavy tactics as you might injure innocent people and they are only kids etc. I am starting to think I work with cretins. Supposidly intelligent people cant see that these "kids" will keep pushing until they are diciplined. They need a good clip round the lug hole as my old man would say. Its the only way to get them back in line. They werent so defencive of the little feckers when I pointed out its likely the same "kids" that mug them on the way to work or back from a party etc or vandalise their cars.

Depends if you are looking to modify it. If the 313 was tidy I think I would take that over the 300 if I wasnt going to go FI or anything later, but it really does depend on the cars in question. From my understanding the 313 engine is more than just a bit more than just 13HP up on the 300, it has better low down torque which the 300 lost compared to the 276. Its all swings and rounderbouts in the end if you get it mapped though.

They had some muppet MP on the Beeb today and christ she was dillusional. She said no heavy handed tactics will be used - no water cannon, no rubber bullets - but rather they expect the public to dob in who is doing in. Get the feck in there and sort these little scroats out! I like the idea of Smart Watering them all. No need to disperse them, just tell them they are being marked with Smart Water and then do a mass scan of them all later. Anyone caught with Smart Water on them has their and direct family members benefits stopped. You watch them give up
