That zorst is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. I was gonna buy that zorst but hesitated for a week or so because I was unsure of the make, brand and quality of fit etc. However when the Nismo came I snapped it up instantly without a second thought

Also, the double lip as you put it also has the benefit of making the centres smaller. To me thats not a benefit, its a disadvantage I prefer my longer spokes allowing more of the discs and calipers to be viewed, especially when I get a proper blinging brake kit on my zed soon Yes but your disks and calipers will now look too small, especially as they are designed to fit behind 17 inch wheels. This look just isn't attractive. Reminds me of a Corsa with big alloys... Read the last sentence of my post

I'm well happy with the DC and prefer the sound to a nismo as much deeper rumble low down revs, but Nismo's are a better finish slightly. I'd go for a true HKS next time I think! The one I saw was a 335i and was as quick as the zed easily 5.5 0-60 Convertible is 5.8. 306 bhp but with the weight of metal roof and motors. Would be interesting..... You'd like to think on a track the zed would come out on top but this was a straight drag on a dual carriageway

So basically you are saying that you are a badge snob?? That doesn't make sense....... why pay £200 - £300 more in average for a full set (i know you got a great deal) for something that a lot of the time ain't as good!? I wouldn't buy em if they were crap, but they are not. Even a lot of the tyre sites now class them as premium sports tyre. Its just that they are not as well known Each to their own I suppose, but seems crazy for me Yes I am a badge snob One thing though, I never said they were crap or that more well known brands were any better just that I prefer to have stuff that is a recognized premium brand Hence me not buying a set of Ruff Racing wheels
