+1 easy diy job. Wish we had a decent key like today's beemers/audi's, even a golf IV has a nicer looking key! And doesn't share it with a Micra. Why? All it does is start the thing. The reason BM do that is the drivers want everyone to know they've got the damn thing! At least if you lose your Zed key, someone can't walk straight to the car and get in.... You could get them to insure it and add you as a named driver to enable them to accumulate NCD, but the premium will be a lot higher. Direct line allow named drivers to accumulate NCD too if insure it yourself
