I'm pretty sure that the car named first always wins. It does look impressive but it almost looks too easy if you know what i mean? Also the SL beats it off the line despite being 0.5 secs slower to 60 and without launch control. Makes you think that they just wanted it to be last going into the first corner to make for a better vid True,, but in its defence GTR did start at the back and 0.5 secs is nothing.. 0.5 secs across the whole race is nothing but off the line the GT-R 'apparently' should be beating the SL into that first corner especially as its on the inside. Its all a little bit dodgy to me.

Thats very true, if these people were half as good as they say they are - or think they are - they would already be earning £100kpa and wouldn't make prats of themselves by appearing on a show like that. Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk. The thing is, the previous series' had some actual self made successful people who were earning more than the £100k Sugar offers. A barrister is never gonna earn more than about £45k. And yes, he was a fooooooking ****, but so was the other knob with the wavey hair, Raef or something equally ridiculous

The more I look at that the more I love it. Look how the front arches are just over the wheels and the rears ones are higher, makes the car look like its leaning forward, about to blitz off the line. Love it. I bet its about 7litres, 500 kgs/Co2 and does about 8mpg

I've deliberately dodged this thread as I had sky+'d it and hadn't had time to watch it, but now I have. I luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurve this program. I also agree that the standard is dropping. A few years ago the candidates were quantifiable achievers who earn't more than the £100k Sir Alan offers, now its just regional sales mangers for a window manufacturers etc. Whatever happens, I love it anyway
