  1. Thanks Martin. Seems it is an unnecessary file. Only trouble is how to delete it safely now.
  2. Can anyone help? I received an automatic download of XP service pack 3 yesterday, and ever since I have been getting a couple of error messages when I boot up. They are - AirGCFG.exe - entry point not found X The procedure entry point apsGetInterfaceCount could not be located in dynamic link library wlnapi.dll WZCSLDR2.exe - entry point not found X The procedure entry point apsInitialize could not be located in dynamic link library wlnapi.dll When I close the boxes the computer boots up OK, and everything else seems to be running fine, but it is really annoying to have the already lengthy boot up sequence extended even further. Any suggestions for fixing this will be gratefully received.
  3. The auto box is tiptronic - you can use it just like a manual to obtain full control over engine speed and gear choice. I have driven a umber of autos and this one is very good compared to others.
  4. Great shots. Get a stubby for the next shoot!
  5. you normally just wire up to the reverse light. Is this the same system you have used, Phil? same system but as with everything there are good and bad versions, we did try some of the cheaper ones on the TVR but were very intermittant in operation. The ones we have now have been trialed for a while with no glitches even comming up to very thin posts at all angles never fails, which the standard Nissan item sometimes misses. You quoted £150 fitted, Phil. How much just to supply? (It's a long run to Sunderland!)

    My bike

You want to watch yourself playing about under the Kingston Bridge at night!
  8. Thought the JDM ECU gave 290 bhp.
  9. I have the same button - it's for the heated windscreen - check out the elements near the bottom of the screen.
  10. There are some significant differences between the US manual guide and the European guide just posted. It would be good to know which, if any, of these guides is applicable to JDM models.

  13. PRICKSTICK !! you do mean prittstick .........i hope dyslexic Thought I'd take this opportunity to post up one of the world's oldest jokes - I used to be dyslexic but I'm KO now.
  14. Do they fit on a JDM rear bumper?
  15. Thanks, Phil - struts now installed and working perfectly. It was easy once I got the brackets the right way round! Thanks again for talking me through it.
  16. I'm in no hurry, so the pictures will be much appreciated. Thanks.
  17. Had another look - the struts I have seem to be quite different from the ones in the photos. The fitting on the narrow end of the strut already has a right-angled bracket attached to it, which I assume should be attached to the bolt under the plastic trim. I can't however, see where to attach the black bracket - it comes with two hex bolts which don't seem to fit anywhere. Now I'm really baffled!
  18. That seems to be a great help, though I'm not sure I can see exactly how the brackets fit on to the hinge brackets. I'll go and have another look. Thanks.
  19. Hi all - got a set of gas bonnet lifters from Phil today but haven't a clue how to fit them. I've PMd Phil but you know how busy he usually is and it could be a while before I get a reply. Can anybody else who has done this provide any guidance or pictures?
  20. Another convert - welcome to the club. Remember to post up some pictures of the Z as soon as you can.
  21. You might need to explain that to some of the other members on here, though!
