  1. ......and if you don't have a garage where do put ithe cover when its soaking wet and without messing up your clothes in the process? I do not have a garage and my last 350 was kept outside all the time. As long as you keep it well polished and more importantly, regularly waxed, that is the best protection. When I traded in UK56ZED last month I had several comments from dealers, who were not buying, that they had not seen a shiner ZED and I don't think they believed me when I said it was kept outside.
  2. If you are having trouble getting about on the ice, I have found these work a treat and don't have to mess about changing shoes/boots - got them for £15 - Google Yaktrax. Next best thing to crampons I reckon

  4. Moreton Park staff have noted some members (those who have mentioned the fact) are booking through the Internet, presumably on the basis that gets a better deal. The rates we have been offered as a group include full English breakfasts for both people staying, the internet bookings (Late Rooms) do not as Moreton have to pay them a fee. So please do bear in mind there will be seperate charges for breakfasts. which if booked upon arrival will mean another £10 per couple for each sitting, or £15 if not pre-booked at reception. Which I understand means you will effectively be paying more, unless you do not want a breakfast I gather the internet option for our wekend has now been closed and if anyone who has booked wants to reconsider their booking arrangements please contact Moreton Park direct - 001691 77666. This thread has been locked as it is for information only. But will those who have pre-booked by the internet please pm me so we definitely know you are booked in, as Moreton will only be telling us of those who have booked through the group arrangement. Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internet bookings: 1. Nixy & Markie
  5. Wouldn't like to be one of those doing the gritting job - they must be working all hours just to keep the main roads open and at the end of the day with the millions of miles of road in this country we would all be paying a lot more council tax to have every road gritted, which is then quite useless when you get temperatures falling below -5 degrees, aside from when another heavy snowfall quickly covers over roads that are less well used than main roads. Grin and bear it time
  6. Just seen a neighbour who used his car yesterday now can't get into it this morning - all the doors are iced shut Think I'll stay in
  7. Was an honest question though No argument with the question but whether you will get anyone to look past the foreground is another matter
  8. Hmmmm.... the way this thread is going might have to move it to off-topic discussion , but have to say it is very pleasant viewing
  9. Are you seeing the windows drop slightly when you open the doors and then raise upon the doors being shut? If not, if could be the glass hitting the body - something you want to correct very soon. Also moved your post from General
  10. Any offers to help Nixy visualize different sizes
  11. Does that measurement have some special meaning for you - which in old money is five and quarter inches Its the size of my heels that is so tempting to edit but must not abuse my mod powers, must not abuse my ......

  13. If you check out the link that put in my first post ( http://www.parkingdynamics.co.uk/ ) there is all the info you need about installation. The main bugbear does seem to be the need to remove the bumper, but otherwise it is all straightforward As the firm is in Fareham in Hants, its not too far from you and I intend to make a visit about fitment to my 370
  14. Yep, air-con needs to be on all the time, especially with no windows open. The condensation is also believed to be responsible for the Bose skipping issue - I certainly found that in both my previous ZEDs as the Bose was fine in summer so the drier you can keep the inside the better
  15. With over 3000 posts this has got to be the latest introduction thread ever More seriously, welcome back Mike and June and I hope that for both you and Becs 2010 will be a lot better year for each of you. Look forward to meeting up again soon
  16. Thanks for that - I presume the antenna wire is mounted between the bumper and the polystyrene from what you have said, so it is definitely a bumper off install job?
  17. And its getting colder - lucky you
  18. you must drive like a total nanny! I don't think you have met Mike, who can be likened to Grant and Phil Mitchell all rolled into one, so good luck when you do meet up
  19. Try Scotland in September, you just might bump into a ZED convoy And maybe a ride in a white 370? My pleasure
  20. That 10th pin was a bit elusive - hope he had crampons on
  21. Oi! you got your own pond and yeah, we know its bigger
  22. Locked at OP's request

  24. Its a myth I tell you, white is the easiest colour I've ever had to keep clean, especially compared to black!! You have just made my day then
  25. In absolutely standard trim and it was first registered in December 2006. Some dealers who I contacted were struggling to offer £12k on a similar s/h buy to the 370 that I have bought Probably more to do with how keen they were to shift that particular 370. Would agree - I saw upon collecting the 370 they had a 4wheel drive thing in the showroom where the my car had been (targeting the particular weather period?), but from what the salesman said and noting 3Fiddy couldn't do a deal on the car earlier on I suspect I hit the sweet spot in the month in terms of accounting and offering what was a bog standard 350 in p/e. edit: just remembered - the 350 was not bog standard when I handed it over as it had a 350Z-uk sticker on the n/s rear window
