  10. Will the strut bar fit and is going back on Nice to see you doing something to your own car for a change rather than fixing everyone else's And can fully understand the s/c option that is more suited to your driving style
  11. Yep, both tyre and gunge And I hear that if the puncture is anything other a small nail whole the chances are it would not work
  12. I think its because it doesnt easily photograph well and many of the early shots of it were poor. It also doesnt look half as good in the showroom as in daylight outside. Took me a while to be convinced, but once I saw it outside in the flesh, I love it Very much so, it is a shame they don't do a few more brighter colours like an orange or a green, I always think brighter lighter colours suit sports cars and particularly convertibles I mean why have a car that you won't to turn heads that doesn't Darker colours look deeper and nicer close up and when detailed but brighter colours make you look and stare So Paul are you coming to Wales now then After he has had his free uprev done I hope
  13. I had the lips on the Rays of my previous 350 polished and they were not lacquered but in the subsequent near-on 2 years I had the car there was no sign of deterioration at all, and as wimper says, it was an easy task to file/emery/polish the lips when they did get, er..........you know viewtopic.php?f=61&t=13182&hilit=rays
  14. Now where have I seen that before........... But you look to have done a great job there
  15. Search button is your friend viewtopic.php?f=102&t=59726&hilit=boot+370 as for the tools that come with the 370's you only get the wheel nut brace
  16. Looks really good Did you get one of the uber cloths for drying - they are truly amazing have discovered them myself after joining this forum. This looks the sort of thing on the website you have used: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-a ... d_362.html
  17. I think that's where the expression "flaming hell" comes from Nice though
  18. See, all that suggestion Graham was shag...... some old mutton the last time he was in Wales was not true, he was just shearing it for his knitting hobby
  19. 'fraid so ... it's probably going past the rings like mine was If there are no obvious leaks given the amount of oil you are putting in, it does look like engine wear - quite possibly a result of less than 98 octane being regularly put in by the previous owner(s)
  20. Your very own smurfmobile - about bloody time More seriously, congratulations and enjoy
  21. Hope you have had a goodun
  22. Must have taken up a fair bit of your Easter weekend Chris - and although it is something you do for love, as opposed to any form of payment, mucho credit for getting it back up and working for the rest of us
  23. I always relate back to Michelle Mouton - now she could tame THE most fearsome rally cars in the Group B era which demonstrated if the desire was there a woman could equal, or better many of the most respected drivers at the time in the MOST masculine of cars. All down to whether an individual enjoys driving or not and does it right - jeez - how many idiot males drivers do we see every day on the roads in what might be generalized as masculine cars
