Hi mate, just caught up with this. Mine was done by modifying the connector with the uprated speaker wire and making the connector back up again as if it was standard. Not the *perfect* solution when running upgraded speaker wire but given it was then going through the crossover and EQ, that's the way it was done..... Takes some time, but that's the sort of thing I just like knowing has been done.

I'm sure that was mentioned last year but people were leaving through out the day You can move the car for track time, no problems. The 6pm closing time is the published time. Last year people left earlier than that though. It depends how much they police the show... It's normally pretty sensible though.

Right, group track time is a no. To avoid the PayPal fees with me booking it, if you still want to go on track please book directly with the organisers on the link on the front page to the show website. All those that have PM'd me, I have received your messages and am going through the payment information. I will let you know individually if there is a problem. Have had a response from the organisers and the sooner we get payment in the better the pitch we will get. So if you know any others going, chase them up and I'll get the details off asap. Should be a great show!

2 massive benefits though....... 1. The interface is brilliant and it stops you having dangerous moments trying to find a track you want. 2. It uses the Alpine software rather than the Apple software to play the music - you can hear it!

With an Alpine yes, not sure about the Kenwood......

Looking at that and making an educated guess, I would say the amp isn't powering on and the reason is the remote lead isn't connected properly......?

Nice unit that, shame it's good sound is going through the OEM gumph though. And you're right Digsy, the Alpine set up is pretty much the benchmark for iPod interfaces
