  1. Look forward to it, any more info on 350z track only time ? Need at least 20 people up for it......
  2. Payment details going up tomorrow I expect. Thanks for the interest, keep the track entries coming!
  3. Welcome to the team both of you.
  4. Just my experience from last year when they took the stuff in my car out as they weren't happy it was secure enough. To be clear guys and gals, I will put a post up later in the week about where to send payment to. Got a lot on in the next 48 hours and will need some time to discuss it with the team and the organisers. Thanks.
  5. I'll have in car video running You'll need to make sure every component is bolted in. No suction cups or velcro allowed, we tried last year....
  6. PM replied - it stays there until the message is read.
  7. +1 - what product do you need for this? I need to do mine and will do this when I change my brakes.....
  8. OK - I'll give you a call when I can get away from work then?
  9. I definately would be then I think the guys worried about damage should give it a go too, you really dont have to push at all, I certainly wont be. Just a chance to do some laps around Silverstone and get some good piccies of your car on track (I will give my SLR camera to someone whos spectating if they like to take pics?) Having been on the track at this event once before, it is very well run and they use the widest bits of the track. It's the national circuit and I'd encourage people to get their Zed on it - the surface is smoother than you can imagine. If we have the session to ourselves we agree the passing rules and accept there will be no racing each other hard and that's it. If you drive no faster than on the roads, it's safer than the road!
  10. Absolutely!! A Zed out-performs and looks better in standard form than 90% of the cars on show so you have nothing to worry about mate. It's a club stand and we cater from standard to things M350ZB does to a car! (only joking bud!) My first show I had a standard Zed with just some under bonnet shiny bits....
  11. No worries, will do. Great to see 20 there. If we can get a Zed only track session is everyone up for it?
  12. Same here. What time will people hang around until?
  13. Do tell Martin!! Welcome to the club
  14. Spray some AG Engine and Machine cleaner on the stain and rinse with a hose. As for the interior, if is is blotchy, put some of the dressing onto the cloth so it is impregnated with the product i.e. put some on the cloth and rub the cloth together so you can't see it on the cloth. You don't need a lot (no more than a Malteser size blob) then wipe over the blotchy areas. This should move some of the blotches to the nearby area and give a smoother look. Then take a clean / dry cloth and give it a final wipe after a few minutes. To check it, when you've done the first wipe, walk around the car looking at the surface and check it looks ok. (there go some of my 'secrets'! )
  15. As you point out in these difficult financial times thoght it may benafit someone on this forum who may have been unlucky enough to loose a mirror unit, having only to spend £120 on a brand new replacement rather than an extra £187 at their local nissan dealer, yes i did a price check today £307.00 Which is fine. So the way the club works is the club gives back what people give to it. If you show that you're prepared to give then you can benefit by advertising. It also protects our members. These are the rules buddy, and the way we run it here.
  16. Class D is for driving subs yes, but I'd be surprised if all the channels are class D output? Check the manual and see what it says on the outputs..... The main thing is to install the speakers properly and make sure you have a reasonable amount of adjustment on the head unit for the sound. Spending time on the mounting and then listening to it over and over again and adjusting the settings will pay dividends. I'm happy to recommend CD's and stuff but it depends how far you want to go with this game! Cabling and soundproofing should be at least 10% of the budget. A chain is only as strong as the weakest link..... Dynamat Xtreme is what I use - it's the lightest and offers the best performance as well IMO. With a sportscar like the Zed I didn't want to add weight completely unnecessarily so that's what I went for. The cheaper stuff at 2.5mm leaves one big question - is there enough room to even apply it???
  17. I'll be sorting it out later this week if that's ok with everyone?
  18. Sorry to hear this. Take it easy out there people. Glad you're ok.
  19. The rears will do almost nothing if it is set up right so co-ax's will make no audible difference mate.
  20. My fronts are in the standard location behind the wing mirror and the rears are co-ax's. As for the mix and match, you can get some great results but it does take a LOT of setting up!
