  1. Toyo Proxes T1-R's for me. Had them on the Lotus, the Volvo and the Zed. Got Pirelli P-Zer Nero's on the ST, they're pretty good to be fair but don't come in Zed fitment. Would have Yoko's if they did them in the right sizes...
  2. I prefer the first t-shirt, I like what you did with the toner....
  3. You comments about labour are right...... I had mine done and it cost a LOT in labour. Great 'box in the car now though, very pleased
  4. The 04 cars did have the syncro issue box. BEFORE you go to the warranty people, I would get a copy of the TSB and send it to them with a covering note.....
  5. Not sure what to say - apart from get the Abarth and keep the Zed. Or get a beat box to go back and forward to work. Who cares what you're in when you're in traffic??
  6. Seriously, don't worry about it..... Insurance companies are idiots. Remember this. Or to be more precise, believe that WE are idiots (and unfortunately there are a fair few in Britain! ) Firstly, anyone who renews based on their renewal quote needs their head reading. I have always got at least 33% off the renewal when going back to these company's websites and plugging my details in from scratch. Not ideal, but it saves the cash. If you have an accident down on your record, that is no fault, no cost to the insurer, then clearly they have a dipstick as an underwriter..... Have you tried the insurance traders on here for a quote? Elephant, Admiral and Diamond are all a pretty good start outside of them.....
  7. Thats the difference...! Im sure we could all afford 911's for what we paid for our zeds when we got them...!! This is true. In fact, I have been trying to get the motor from my washing machine into the back of a Beetle for the last 6 months to get round the cost!
  8. Money ain't the issue Mark (hence us passing it back to the members with discounted tickets ) - it's the time and effort. It's more valuable than cash, you can't get it back.
  9. Emotions can run high with this stuff bud. When you work hard to build something you like to see people support you when they have benefitted from your work. The hours put in have an impact - for example work for me has been mad and sometimes things suffer. At the same time, if you support Liverpool, you ain't gonna support a Man Utd side for anything! There should be no evil eye, that's not to say there can't be pride and willing to get things going in the right direction.
  10. No stand booked yet - it can be arranged.... Stick your names into a list so I can get numbers
  11. 4 years ago at 24 (when they were still new-ish!)
  12. Just to answer Mark's question about my contact with Rich..... I have had contact with Rich about shows in the past in will do in the future. We have had some success with joint meets. I will hold my hands up to say that I have missed a couple of notices for shows this year, so notices may not have been put up here 'first' - my apologies. However, it has also been seen that putting every show up as early as possible doesn't always generate the traffic in the thread and it can seem to members that there are loads of shows and it gets a bit much of a draw on their time. I will continue to make the contacts needed to do the best for the club at any show we attend. This is to promote the marque and the club - so I'd like as many people to attend as possible. All I ask is people to support that - be it suggestions, attendance or promotion of the events. We're all in this together.
  13. Excellent! Come on people, we'll have some trader support, an R35, and a few other GTR's to keep us company too.....

    New V2 bumper

the plate size is 9x3" or for younger people 229x75mm mine is only a 5 letter plate so not a bad fit as for the boys in blue its early days yet. http://www.platesforcars.co.uk How did you mount it in there? I have the same bumper (genuine one) and it comes with a bracket. But it sticks out a bit too far for my liking, that looks quite neat. are you talking about the air duct that go's behind the grill if so i just cut it back by an inch if it's not that i just used number plate double sided sticky pads and stuck it to the peace where the towing eye hole is. Sorry, I meant the plate being recessed. I have mesh behind the bumper so not sure what you stuck it to?
  15. Welcome - impressive amount of work in the Fiesta there. I love the show scene, especially if people do it properly with some sort of taste! Your Z project sounds interesting, good luck with it. Hope to have you along to the shows.
  16. Nice one, should be a good meet. Assume you're taking the R35??
  17. 1. H5 2. R800NER 3. Chilli Red Great news!
  18. Not all that bad mate, times like these it's good news Am sure people will be pleased with their rare Dream Customz products though!
  19. I think there is a dodgy connection on the door motors or something. I have a very intermittent passenger door window problem, the only things that seem to affect it are heat / moisture - when it has rained or really warm, it gets a bit funny. So far it has sorted itself within a few minutes each time.
