I have heard mixed things about cleaning engine bays in the past regarding getting electrics wet etc, etc... What recommendations can anyone give me on what to do and what not to do as far as cleaning the engine goes such as use a hose or not etc. I have a Rolling Road day in a couple of weeks and i'd like my engine bay to look slightly less dirty for the pictures! Ta muchly!

It doesn't matter if you or I can read it, you most likely got pulled over because the police automatic number plate reader couldn't pick it up. Unlucky, though but at least if you get pulled over once you have changed it and got it approved then you can show them the certificate if you get pulled again.

I found the same with the tweeters as well. I'm now running them actively through an EQS as well so can tidy up the sound to my taste! Agree with the Rainbows as well, brilliant speakers for the money.

Yes you should be running 245's on the rear. The best way to check for definate if you have the correct size wheels on the rear (8.5J) is to whip one off and have a look at the back of the spokes, shold be embossed on there.

A 6" will fit nicely up front but I have managed to squeeze some 6.5" up front! Currently running Focal Utopia's up front and will be changing to a 3 way kit in some custom door pods once I have some time!! You will more than likely need some spacers though as when flush fitted, the window will hit the top of the magnet on the speaker but it will all probably come down to what speakers you are going to try and install. I'd recommend getting the speakers and then doing a few test fits to see what works. There should be enough space behind the door card to sufficiently space the speaker away from the door whilst still getting the door card back on and ensuring the window still drops correctly. Hope this helps!
