    ACT Flywheel!

Been sworn to silence on price but yeah very good deal taking into account fitting as well - Nismo exhaust, hi flows, MREV, Motordyne - very competitive quote from RJN - you could do a lot worse!!!
  5. Thats why he's been 'removed' Not really. He's "removed" because he left of his own accord and asked that his personal details were removed from the site.
  6. The problem with exhausts is that you are getting no power gains and noise is subjective. Picking an exhaust from a video clip is daft IMHO as cameras and mikes vary. Going to meet is a better idea but standing around outside the cars is only half the story because that's not what you'll hear. The only way to be sure that you like the sound of an exhaust is to get inside someone's car and hear it throughout the rev range and on the motorway at your usual cruising speed. Now most of us don't have that luxury so we come on sites like this and take recommendations before taking the plunge. On that basis, the NISMO is undoubtedly the safest choice as there are tons of owners with it and a clear consensus that its a fine sounding exhaust, not to loud, not too chavvy and pretty good quality (it has been known to split...). IMHO anything else you buy you take more of a risk with as the user sample is far smaller. HTH
  7. Twilight grey???????????????? Mmmmmm. Sorry but I'm with Sarnie here too. Whats the point of getting a nice car like a Zed and then making it blend in with the tarmac? Does anyone remember those twix adverts with "Norm" in them... How can a Zed blend in with the tarmac??? Would no one notice a silver Gallardo? If a car is stunning it doesn't need a loud colour to stand out - they paint Seat's yellow for a reason! Lighter metallics like silvers make the lines of a car stand out better - that's why thousands of concept cars over the years have been that colour. I thought very carefully about the colour of my original blade. I didn't want orange as its not to my taste and would affect resale. I didn't fancy red as I wanted a metallic. I liked the blue and black but I'd read here and elsewhere how badly the front of the Zed chips and didn't want little white spots on the front of my car - having seen some daily driver Zeds in those colours, that was a good choice. I preferred Blade to GM at the time so I went with it and would do so again. TG wasn't my choice - it was the only colour I could get without waiting months. Having washed it and parked it in the sun yesterday I'm more than happy.

Yeh Maya wheels were £5400 in the end, price I saw was for one wheels thought it was too good to be true. Good thing is the works and volks come in -13 offset which will do me Cool! My vote is the Works, for what its worth. Think they will look... yeh think you are a 100% right but the works vsxx but not sure if they still do them Thought it was the Meisters that you mentioned on my350z? They would look sweet. yeh but not with kit bro No? Oh well, I'll have to wait like the rest to see the kit...
  10. Welcome to the site, fella? Are you an owner, prospective owner or just short of friends?

    Blue spots...

Interesting. My GT4's have the spots as well. Don't remember them on my previous Z. Definitely no spots on my previous Zed. Have to say its a fairly unsightly and amateur looking solution to the problem.

  17. ...no not in front of my eyes but on my Rays! There's small bright blue blob of paint on each wheel, just at the top of one of the spokes. They were undoubtedly there when I picked it up as its barely been driven since. Does this signify something? Weird!
  18. That's a great shot, Joz! Welcome to the site. PS Interested in a N Wales meet in May? Not far from you.

What happened with these, Jay? I see you're talking Volk and Work over the pond.
