I think a car cover will attract unwanted attention. Also its worth bearing in mind that if you are taking it on and off a dirty car on a regular basis the grit etc can damage the paintwork.

If it was a new premium hatch (A3, C30, that sort of thing) it would be OK but for a coupe its just bland.

+1 Smart move - that will be my idea - keep the Rays and nearly worn-out tyres for some track time and get Nismo's or similar for everyday use. Yeah, you wouldn't want to have to look at the Rays every day...

Zed 1 got used every day, racking up 34k miles in less than 3 years. Zed 2 barely leaves the house as I no longer commute to work and for short hops I just jump in the Micra.
