  1. Welcome aboard, mate! I say spray the kit but maybe leave some CF exposed on say the middle of the front lip. I don't like that wing, sorry.

    Ruined alloys

Thanks Dave, that's worth knowing as I was thinking of them for a refurb.
  3. oh dear LOL - do they not have carvery's where you live Jay, or is it simply not up to ones standards?! A bit riff raff, but one will eat if one must, lol, so its a roast dinner buffet dont think we get it in the south, looking forward to it. Still waiting for Limiter to confirm But I will be there with my missus I remember when I lived in Uxbridge I couldn't get a chip butty for love nor money.
  4. You da man! That looks awesome. I know a lot of folk have a problem with the look of these things but they have loads of them in SW Spain and they give the landscape a real space age feel.

But the real thing looks pants..... http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoe ... nesis.html
  6. Nismo's fine until you get to the back when they obviously were rushing for a sushi break and just stuck a couple of fins on to the rear bumper...
  7. I wouldn't. Don't like the Strosek rear and the only person I know with any Strosek kit said the fitment was awful - not what you'd expect from our German friends, eh?
  8. Nice GTR, Ben. I always though the R33 was a nicer looking car than the R34. Have you got a member in Southport/Scarisbrick with a custard yellow GTR?
  9. Why surely? They are high performance pads after all, made for driving not posing.
  10. It gives me no pleasure to be right on this occasion.
  11. I have always had loads of dust from the OEM pads. Replaced them with Mintex Xtreme pads and noticed a considerable reduction. IIRC Ferodos do produce a lot of dust but I'm happy to be corrected.

Who did the refurb for you, Dave?
  13. Can't agree with Beavis enough. Whatever you do, don't mistake the fuel cap button for the traction control in the dark. Did this last week and didn't realise until the car was sideways in the middle of a roundabout Still don't know how I managed to do it, but wow what a rush Why did you want to open your fuel cap in the middle of an island?
  14. A bit of a Zed aficionado, aren't you Alex? Welcome aboard, mate, good to see you here. Why don't you do the proper intro stuff and tell everyone about your mega-Zed - is it just one now?

    My new Zed

Ah, that's why I like 'em so much. Very nice wheels and pretty pricey too. PS I have to agree that the wing is a bit much on what is pretty much a standard Zed. I'd change for something more subtle.
  16. Hi Panos, welcome to the site! Having seen how they drive in Athens, I would be far to frightened to drive a Zed round there. Yours is looking good though.
  17. Why would you go for repair rather than replacement, Martin?
  18. I'm hoping someone may come along with a piccie of Tim's shirt on the Wales run last year...
  19. Great bloke, terrible taste in shirts!
