Marshalls say no free services. Marshalls said only black and silver black editions too, but that was incorrect. They said March 09 deliveries, which is now April 09. They said delivery dates would be confirmed after the 2nd April ordering went live but thats also moved to 30th May. The point is that the dealers know no more than the man on the street and what they do know is likely to be altered by Nissan at any given point. Quite right - I was only adding their comments not saying that they were gospel. IMHO most of this thread is rumour and conjecture and even when things have been fact (like the limited colours on the black edition or the delivery date) these things are not set in stone so far ahead and Nissan is happy to change them, making the dealers look even dafter.

There seems to be a healthy parts supply and an even healthier industry rebuilding engines (with warranties). The problem with TVRs is that they have more issues the less you use them. Still fine cars if you go into ownership with your eyes (very) wide open.

Apparently the Japanese mag posting the pics is very highly regarded for its accuracy. Also the new Nissan Maxima has very similar shaped lights.

The "ridicule" of overpriced or under-performing products is part and parcel of internet forums and has no doubt on many occasions stopped a member or potential member from making an expensive mistake. If someone puts Nismo alloys on Ebay with a buy it now price of £3000 I would take pleasure in bringing such misplaced optimism (being kind) or blatant profiteering (being unkind) to the attention of those reading this forum. That is quite different from posting up a someone's car just to take the p1ss out of it. On this occasion Jay has probably got a rather too personal given his previous involvement with the car but in his earlier threads the effect is the same. Something is worth what someone wants to pay for it but they are entitled to make an informed decision and Jay's knowledge of this car - including what he paid for it and sold it for - is invaluable information for any potential buyer, be they member or non-member. PS These are my personal views being expressed and not necessarily those of the team.

18'' Nismo's £1150 ran out of time today call you in the morning. Aren't the 19's only £50 more? Correct, down to volume now as the 18's are not produced in huge numbers. I'm sure mbs has his reasons but just not sure why someone would choose 18's over 19's for £50 difference Because he wouldn't believe any of us when we said that 19s don't ruin the ride.

Its probably good that this guy has an over optimistic view on the car's value or you'd never have made such a profit selling it to him, Jay.
