  2. will cost more than a grand !! you have to swop the disc's and lines as well as the calipers
  3. 10 min job , undo 4 screws that keep shroud around steering column, first pop out trim ring round ignition switch... then there are 4, 10mm head bolts that retain speedo assy to the steering column undo these (they are a bit fiddly and you will need a small ratchet with longish extension bar to get at the front ones ) and thats it just unplug the single electrical connector and the speedo assy will be in your hand !!

  8. from what I can remember when I removed my center console , I think you will be OK with the 1cm requirement
  9. Nice looking wheels Rob, will look good on the Zed I can recommended the Falken tyres also
  10. I had something similar happen when I first had my car, I disconnected battery for about 30secs then reconnected been OK ever since Worth a try... just remember to lower both windows when you do the disconnect thing though

  14. Its not easy at all, controlling the lack of spin and doing a proper launch is the hardest thing you can do in my opinion doing standing start sprints is the surest way to bollox a car

  17. Swap the front tyres, and magically the noise will disappear . This noise you describe is classic Zed tyre noise with the Bridgestone tyres fitted .I wouldn't replace with Bridgestones though

  19. I've seen some Volks / Rays with bad corrosion on as well ,so price is no guarantee for quality of finish...
  20. looking at them again , I think they are a steal at that money
  21. I'd have been tempted if I hadnt got a set of rims already... they look nice wheels for the money
