actually it's not too bad, a lot beetter than the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 litre I had last year , I would say about 20mpg on a run...but it did drop down to about 6mpg when I went shooting last week ( a lot of off road stuff, and spinning about in mud etc, )

Sorry no idea on cost's etc. but my mate had his done when it was nearly out of warranty and they ended up replacing the hubs as well because of the difficulty on an old car removing the half shafts Best advice is get a "Quotation" , not an estimate before agreeing to get it done

My Astra was free so I can't complain! Well I was hoping to get my money back in March for it mind you it is 4.0 litre so it will use some juice

only problem is the Zed is a £15 K car, if you look what they sell for in the US , Japan etc... it's ony us silly buggers in the Uk spending £30k on them new And probably a 911 Turbo a £50k car and a Veyron half what we pay etc...... Shouldn't change the car build quality or where you position it in the market... keep us posted Rob with the claim
