get a genuine filter from Nissan dealer about £6

If you tell your dealer you have run the car low on oil wave bye bye to any warranty on engine, my best advice would be to button it , and have oil / filter changed asap just to be on safe side.. I dont think you will have caused any damage by the sound of it

absolutely correct just a nice toy, probably handy if your going to mess about with ignition timing etc, also on the track to record data about max temps , revs , speed, ignition advance and retard, air flow etc,,,,, but no good for everyday motoring.. except fault codes may come in or possibly audible dong for max revs

no doesnt have afr but measures air flow,ignition timing, revs , speed temps etc and has a memory to store them as well as audible warning for revs , temp etc.. to be honest it's got that many features I have not fully explored it yet

TAKE THE BULB OUT Tim, can you honestly say if it was your car, you'd drive around with a faulty safety system? I've drove in cars with no airbags fitted for donkeys years, never bothered me in the least , and yes honestly if my airbag light came on and I couldn't sort it myself I would disable the bulb if I couldn't live with it glowing at me , and I am thinking swopping my steering wheel soon for a Momo item and that wont have an air bag in it so probably will have to whip the bulb out if I cant sort a resistor to extinguish it

I think a spacer, is a spacer....just a glorified packer to increase volume of plenum , so long as it doesn't leak they will be OK Thats cool then, so its possibly high flow cats, then spacer, or would you spend an extra £100 and get a kinetix planum? not much in it really , but to my mind I would sooner have one joint to possibly give trouble than two, (but that's me just being pessimistic )

check oil yourself sounds like it's very low. you ought to check level once a week

Blimey Kev , I thought that Fiats dissolved like an aspirin in wet weather They do unless they spend 9 years in a garage like this one. It's got 45k on the clock too. It's not the most "manly" of cars, is it Kev? Steady on. Mid engine, lightweight, no power brakes or steering, and handles like a go-kart. Great fun to drive and dear I say as much fun to drive as a Zed.. never
