  1. Aren't they. Key things there though: 1. The engine is revving to 7000 rpm and the peak is at 6800rpm. I'm assuming this is a function the UTEC gives you to override the stock rev limit. At 6000 rpm power is at 425 bhp-ish, which is more realistic (but still great!) 2. I believe a 2.8x pulley is being used. In this instance, you'd expect to see boost around these levels. Still - good to see great figures.
  2. In English numbnuts. There's a fair few expats out here! And an English language business school too. And all the fashion houses/models
  3. Doing shows out here, it's pretty cool, and the food is superb Paris tomorrow, then back to London Weds. Booo
  4. haha! Very clever. A dremmel, some wet and dry, and an afternoon later... bang Especially considering that engine there has a Vortech SC as well
  5. Hallelujah It's a great material, but that CF weave look? It's tweed for cars. Don't dress your vehicle in golfing trousers.
  6. Pretty futuristic. It's going to make current hatches look very out of date.
  7. have bought three sheets of heavy duty drilled aluminium plating. Got a load of minor bodykit 'tidying' jobs and it'll be done with them... at some point...
  8. If you're over Matt, I'd be happily to pay for a couple of hours of your time to look at and tweak my SS box, now that it's fully communicating. But it might need slightly more than 2 hrs of my time to make a transatlantic journey worthwhile!
  9. Very pleased! Look a lot better in the flesh! The illuminated Z's when braking and with lights on are a bit cheesy but put a huge smile on my face - hence mission accomplished You can see that fit and fitment is very good. Time and experience will show how it survives rain and stuff like that, but it just got jetwashed with flying colours, so hoorah
  10. They still have it - we're getting what I would call 'Dyno weirdness' and all shall be revealed when we find out what's going on...
  11. just been staring at the yellow pic trying to work out where the door entry is!
  12. I find 'guesswork' the most accurate indication of bhp at present
  13. OK, car dropped off at Abbey, left them my laptop (!) to prove it all talks happily, sit and wait time. And they'll fit my rear lights when they get a minute too
  14. This is the voice of reason... put your old bonnet back and sell yours prior to auction
  15. Not shy is it! Good to look at ... not to own
  16. Do they? It's VERY similar to mine, apparently BTW - good magazine - AND - they do a special deal for clubs so they can get subscriptions for 30% off. Want me to hook you up Val?
  17. noticed that. It's not as if Sept-Feb is the show season, is it?
  18. Too busy to get 'em on at the moment. Here we go... Initial thoughts are the quality far exceeds the APC lights I've seen in the past, but the slightly more angular design and exterior may suit an angular spoiler such as the Nismo or Veilside designs better than my more curved rear. Anyway, proof will be in the fitting.
  19. well well well! 24K a fair price, but how many miles has that owner put on it?
  20. Strangely, those ones can talk to me...
  21. celica-club.co.uk has been down the last day as well - with 400 paying members baying for blood. I think I've gone off computers to be honest
  22. pah! There's a bike between them in your avatar. They'll cope
  23. OK. I'm pretty sure that email address is Giles only... but I'll ask him.
