It's doing neither of those things; until you try and set a value, then it does that automatically. As soon as you revert to the previous map, it's fine. Hence I don't think it is wired incorrectly

Hi Matt, thanks for your speedy reply. I'll get the tuners to check the box's connections; however sending the box internationally back to Vortech isn't much of an option to be honest. Surely if the box was wired up incorrectly it wouldn't work normally? Currently the car is working perfectly well but there's no option to tune it.

Out of the frying pan, into the fire... They got a new cable and that allowed them to talk to the box. The only problem now is, that tuning it appears impossible. Every time they change a value by as little as 0.1 the car refuses to rev over 4000 revs. They're stumped. Help!

To be honest I'm not sure. I'm not there when they are doing it. I'm off there tomorrow and will have a look. Stephen

Hi Matt I wonder if you can help - Dorian (prescience) said you're the man... My tuners (Abbey motorsport) are attempting to tune my Z which has the Vortech supercharger. They have the split second software but can't connect to the box because apparently they have the wrong cable. I've been told it's just a straight through serial cable but apparently that's not doing the job. Any suggestions?
