  1. No use to me then. Still hunting the US forums to see if I can find any info on wether the UTEC can control external devices. If not, I might have some bad news on this GB...
  2. £££££££££££££££ Not really an option
  3. Good time to do it, yes... Good time to be spending even more, no ... ! Did you just plonk a Walbro in place of the standard one then?
  4. Any US or Italian peeps got maps avaialable for us to look at? Also... how will I get this to replicate the SS box on the Vortech by opening a solenoid to action the auxiliary fuel pump?
  5. If your arsehole looks like that, I'd lay off the spicey food
  6. It's a copy with the side vents smoothed over. Could look very slick.
  7. F & F Brighton for me I'm afraid. I wonder if Billing are trying to compete with JAE still?
  8. Nope, Sharif @ ForgedInternals apparently, who has done most of the UTEC sales at my350z.com, IRC. He was also very helpful to me when trying to sort out tuning issues on my split-second box. Top bloke. I'm guessing the guy with cams+pulleys+headers+cats+plenum spacer+exhaust, currently experiences not+much+difference+despite+all+that+expenditure.
  9. lmao Stephen, if you have some nice Celicas and we don't fill up the 20 spaces, you are welcome to send them on our site as long as I get my money back (it's £1 per car for the plot that I'll have to get back ) sub-letting
  10. Nope, I have no official figures. What I *do* have, is a potential riot at Celica-club as we have 60 confirmed cars, two gazebo's and about 30 people camping, and a pitch that only fits about 35. Arggghhhhhhhh
  11. New map! Well, the clubs are miles apart, but 350z-uk's pitch looks ENORMOUS. Is that really a 20 car pitch? They might have got the two clubs the wrong way round ... ?
  12. I was of the mind that the drilled and slotted discs were all about heat and brake-dust dissipation. Is that the case?
  13. You are all invited to join in my fantasy World Cup league. Go oooon, it'll be fun Go to http://fpli.premierleague.com , sign up a team, and join a private league with THIS code: 237584-39332 See you on there and good luck!
  14. You'll be unsurprised to hear I disagree entirely!!! Nick: Looking great matey - you coming to some SMCC meets over the Summer?
  15. Hi Val, I just want to say I appreciate the time and effort that has gone into organising this so far and I hope it's rewarded for all of us. I have to say though, that this : Hasn't filled me with confidence!!! I'm trying to see if J-Tuner will let me write an extended piece on Jermaine's visit about US tuners tuning UK cars. Will Jermaine be interested?
  16. What, including tuning? That's fantasy. He is aware of the fact that half of them are FI as well, yes? Clearly I wasn't talking about 3 weeks for it . I'm talking about fitting these units AND tuning them for 4 cars in 12 working hours. 3 hours per car. With no breaks. I can't help but think that's very tight time-wise.
  17. Nothing revs like an S2000. I had a VVTLi Celica which revved to 8300 revs and yet the S2K goes even higher than that.
  18. OK - so we have two N/A and two F/I. Is 1.5 days still enough time?
  19. Whifbitz are official importers from Japan.
  20. Because no-one has contacted me! I'm touring South-East Asia at the moment and not back until mid next week, but my phone is on and I can get email too. However, not checking the web that often, but I just got a wifi connection in my hotel and found this thread. It doesn't make for good reading. My personal feelings are this. Someone's willingness to provide good support is going to equate to their willingness to go the extra mile with the tuning. It would be very easy for someone to turn up with a unit and do a basic map and wash their hands of it all. To do a great map will require dedication and some graft and if the current state of play is anything to go by that's looking unlikely - especially as the tone on this thread has not been diplomatic enough to maintain a good working relationship. I.e. saying 'someone has really pi**ed me off' is refreshingly honest but not condusive to good relations once we kick things off. If you want to defer by two weeks, that's fine, but please let me know an actual date. The price is still good and am happy with that. Also; can you check on your next call to make sure he's happy tuning with connections to aftermarket AFM gauges? The Utec is happy with both Zeitronix and the AEM UEGO but I'm not sure if that's something he needs to know in advance.
  21. Pretty much! The weather meant that a few people failed to show though. Still got over 700 !!! DVD available soon
