  1. get what your saying about the mileage, i know exactly what you mean, i changed to a sensible car a couple of years ago cos the milage was killing my convertible. good luck with the decision making, its never easy.
  2. tough choices, congrats on the new arrival, me and my lucy want to head in that direction at some point, but we plan to use my wifes car as the family wagon, i use mine for work, and lucy when and if we had kids would be at home so would need the family car would have hers, and then come the weekend we both use hers as the family wagon. (i think that came out a bit garbled ) why have 2 family cars if your in yours for work, use the wifes for the weekend family activities. our plans may change in the future but thats what i have mapped out for the future,
  3. actually i think its 5.5 sec, but i could remember so played on the safe side and added a sec but yeah definetly no slouch
  4. don't know if CS does services, but he might be able to reccomend someone. although i'm guessing the low milage means its still in nissan warrenty. have a look at the dealers praise and woes section, there should be some b'ham based dealers who do a good job
  5. whats your location, age of the car etc
  6. never seen the Zed as a hairdressers car, and wouldn't say it has no go, 0-60 in 6.5 isn't slow
  7. looks really good, makes me want mine even more on the car, they rang me today to check i wanted the eyebrows painted as well, which must mean they've done the work and are adding colour as we speak
  8. i contemplated it doing the swap with you, but it was looking like to much effort to swap mods over etc, and i kinda like my car it would have been like swapping a child
  9. i love that film, its one of my all time favourites
  10. long term plan is to fit the apexi filter while using the k&N typhoon pipe work and air box etc. i used it on a previous car, and i like the filter. but prefer the apexi filter. lots to choose from,
  11. already got 2 on order i'm not a ferrari fan, but that does look nice.
  12. Road racing, the key to a cars performance I wouldnt say the ring is a great indication, its a little long for some smaller cars..... Anywho tricky as i said dont expect the awe inspiring grunt of a supra but we're not talking about smaller cars

    mpg??

as i've posted soooooooooooooooo many times before, i get 23-26mpg on my 8 mile a day round trip to work, and 32 mpg long distance, and 11 mpg on track.
  14. thats what i would have said, the S2000 is a close match, i looked at one, but found the styling to girly, and made it look like an MX5 (nothing wrong with an MX5 as its acracking caR) but i need a big butch car as i'm a big man
  15. my dads bigger than yours ! are you two still pork sword fighting? if you want an accurate measure of those cars go and find the nurburgring track times for them, i believe there is a web page that has different lap times for a range of cars done by the same driver (most of them) and its got most performance cars on it, but i can't remember the address for it, and that should give you a better idea.
  16. Was this for the red bead time attack styley? or just like the outer rim? (if you understand). 250 for the black 80 on top for the time attatck style red lip hmmm this is tempting, plus being like 3mins away i could drop my car in and bike to work for a few days, or let them have it over a weekend maybe..... any news on a possible discount? hadn't got round to doing it yet, waiting on some cash to come back in, hoping to di it at the beginning of october, but also need to organise with marky to borrow his spare set so i can drive my car.
  17. oil wise do a search, either opie oils or z-store.co.uk can do you a service kit, popular choices are silkolene pro s and at 5w30. i'm using royal purple 5w30 others to use might be millers as well.
  18. i love the cadbury gorilla playing phil collins
  19. Was this for the red bead time attack styley? or just like the outer rim? (if you understand). 250 for the black 80 on top for the time attatck style red lip
  20. does it need holes drilling in the bumper, if your worried fit it like the Greddy one and cut the lugs off and just use a good 3M double sided tape and then just use the screws that go into the wheel arch. means you can remove and sell later without damaging your original bumper.
