  1. i can't afford to pay till november, need the next payday wasn't expecting it to fill up so quickly, GB usually take ages to organise
  2. there are loads of cars and manly man things going on and you make me look gay
  3. They look like Envy resonated De-cat pipes, but i'm sure the OP will update with info
  4. thats the worst ever picture of me, how did you manage such an unflattering shot of me. i didn't even have chance to suck the gut in
  5. can you pm me what they quoted you?
  6. times the big one, if i go for red lip its 3 days without the wheels. i have an offer of a loan set, but i feel its unfair to expect the other person to drop off and pick up etc, and i cna;t get them in my car. i'm trying to be sensible so doing it in stages, so for now its satin black only. the other problem i'm having is finding somewhere local to fit me in over half term. wheel genie is booked up till november. so i'm browsing at the moment to find somewhere.
  7. its partly the time issue as well being with out the car for 3 days, or trying to organise and trnasport 4 wheels and tyres to put on temporarily. i just want in and out in a day. and i can always have the red lip added later. only problem is i can't get in to wheel genie for a days work as they are booked up, they can do a 2 day job. but i'd need to a lift there and back etc. for now the money from the wheels is being used in the spoiler. wheels for now will be satin black only.
  8. i have some carbon fibre and that was originally the idea but i can't be arsed with the cost and hassle. i think satin black is the way forward.
  9. such an important fact, you said it twice
  10. i'd say go for the K2 over the scorpion, only because there has been a few fitment issues with the scorpion. nothing major, but some have needed some gentle persausion to go in. if you want noise, then go K1. i run the invidia G200 True Dual and will be at the Ace Cafe meet at the end of the month BM will be there with his K1 Mick43 should be there with his true dual DC sports. and i'm sure there are others but none i can think of off the top of my head
  11. personally i like the Typhoon, but will change the filter element to an Apexi at some point for better filtration and no oil.
  12. Ok this is an odd one, i know what i want to do but need assistance in colouring it. i have a Nismo style V2 Spoiler on its way to go on to my silver Car, i don't want to do the whole spoiler in silver as i think its too much, so the plan is to do the blade and the end pieces in Black. my issue is which black. (i'll also do my door handles in the same shade.) to help i'm due to try and refurb my wheels soon in Satin black, originally i was going to do a red lip, but have decided to save money and go plain satin black. should i do the spoiler and handles in the same satin black as the wheels or should i use a gloss black instead, or would this contrast to much against the wheels. i originally wanted the V2 with a carbon blade, but my wallet wasn't up for that kind of a beating peoples opinions are more than welcome. i must admit, looking at other cars with a carbon fin etc, you can't tell untill your close that its actually carbon.
  13. was the tyre fitters that did it, don't know what setting they had it on. would have been the same for the wheels
  14. thats alright they are coming off again in a few weeks when the wheels are refurbed i'll get wheel genie to put them back on properly
  15. camskills for me too, had them fitted at a place near me for £8 a corner, they even did the spacers at the same time for no extra cost
  16. For those who don't deal in the dollar it works out to roughly £33 give or take a few pence, and allow for any exchange fluctuation between now and when the order goes through 1) stichy 2) Goatboy 3) nurrish 4) Rawbhp 5) rtbiscuit
  17. my favourite band at the time was ocean colour scene, but also like alot of the mixes and club stuff that was coming out from people like judge jules, oakenfold etc
  18. well the 90's took me from 8 to 18 started down the pubs from 16, so only really fully enjoyed that side of life from about 1998 onwards. but i remember the music, shame i was in a quiet end of town, when i hit college is was weekends down in london at ministry and fabric. i think i pi**ed most of my part time earnings up a wall through those years; quite literally back in my old town it was flacks, it was the only pub open after 11, and everyone in the town used to go down to it. and it always gaurenteed to kick off, you could set your watch by it, the ploice would be waiting with a riot van at about 12 when everyone fell out it had open fires in the winter, 2 cellars with bands playing in, floors you stuck to. half the scars i've got are from that place, oh happy memories, i miss being that age no responsibilities, no worries, money in your pocket and a beer in your hand, loads of skanks and the high chance of a punch up followed by a kebab on the way home
  19. mines doing the same, my guess is there is more oil so more pressure, also if the viscosity is different that might also have an effect. as long as the oil gauge is reading , and the dipstick says there is oil in there then there shouldn't be a problem
  20. never heard that one before, was it fitted properly, sounds like a leak to me
  21. i run 20mm and can't tell the difference, car feels just as planted as for longer bolts what ever kit you get should have everything you need. but if your getting the eibach hubcentric ones they are best as the studs are already on the spacer, with holes for your original studs to go into and then bolt the spacer ontop. then with the new spacer studs you refit the wheel with your own nuts and jobs a goodun.
  22. not on this forum as far as i'm aware
