i've said it before and i'll say it again. pizza is like sex; even a bad one is still good.

i'd possibly suggest bleeding the coolant and re topping up. set you back about £30 for the coolant.

not really suffered, yes it slides here and there and struggles ot get traction, but thats only if i over throttle it. as long as i stay off the loud pedal and use high gears its not to bad, i've even been doing better than some FWD cars.

what was the fault code? if it had been retarding the engine, i'd want to know why

when you reset you get the code then. post it up and we'll tell you what the porblem is.
