  1. Glad someone else finds its not the worst car in the world, well not when its paired with a reasonable driver agreed its not that bad. people seem to curse it to the ground in this weather but i've not really had any problems, as long as i don't loose momentum. had to gently rock it out with the clutch but once moving i'm usually fine. been pulling away in 3rd works a treat, and not using the loud pedal much. just tickle it really. and use the gears to slow down for roundabouts and corners. hardly touch my brakes, keepa good gap and make judgements and adjustments really early. yes my wifes car is easier to drive in this weather but mine isn't impossible. what makes it difficult are the other plob heads on the road who don't know how to drive
  2. someone was wearing their captain brave pants that day
  3. they look like a good idea, never come across them before
  4. i think its also possible to do things like marking of exma papers for keystage 2 like sats papers.
  5. some publishing companies look for people to put togehter leaflets into envelopes, had a friend who used to do anne summers parties, she made a steady income. was at a recent food fair and jamie oliver has set up his own version of a cooking party. bit like anne summers parties but with cooking stuff. i know someone else who makes their own cards and sells them on. any of those help?
  6. i never understand how women get to take so much in a divorce. i always thought you should just get out what you put in. if she bought a house, she can keep it. if all she did was sleep with him, then just pay her the hourly rate for her time. then she gets out what she puts in.
  7. jees coops aren't you only about 23 or something? and you were married, how long for? and joint accounts are just wrong. if my wife wants shoes and cloths thats fine she buys them with her own money. if i want car parts i buy it with mine. as the meerkats say "simples"
  8. this was kind of my thought, just doesn't seem cost effective, when you have insurance in the first place
  9. if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. if its like a pyramid scheme the only person who tends to make money is the person who started it. like the good old one "if you want to be rich ring this number to find out how" usually a premium rate number and the answer phone message tells you to " start a premium rate number, tell people they can get rich by ringing it and sit back and watch the money come rolling in" the only job i can think of that lets you earn money while laying down is prostitution and i don't think thats a route she'll want to take. although you could make good money as a pimp, all you need to do is find your self some hoe's
  10. i liked the idea, but was always put off by the cost, does it really cut that much off the insurance. how many years before it pays for itself?
  11. I never really dabbled in tuning the MR2 as I always had my eye on the zed! I loved the car but I thought the back end was always a little bit too willing to step out - either that or I was a little too spirited in it. i found it excellently balanced, i could get the rear out but control it well. admittedly it was an animal in the wet; if you weren't on the ball it would punish you i had some great times doing wet round about drifting
  12. i had the mk3 MR2 fantastic car, superb handling, and dead easy to tune.
  13. like fiddy said, i fitted mine without removing the bumper.
  14. is it worth you offering to pay the difference they are arguing over?
  15. same company as papa jones. sometimes they call it papa jones; sometimes perfect pizza i used to work for them back at uni
  16. someone has far to much time on their hands great job though
  17. i've said it before and i'll say it again. pizza is like sex; even a bad one is still good.
  18. i'd possibly suggest bleeding the coolant and re topping up. set you back about £30 for the coolant.
  19. not really suffered, yes it slides here and there and struggles ot get traction, but thats only if i over throttle it. as long as i stay off the loud pedal and use high gears its not to bad, i've even been doing better than some FWD cars.
  20. i really like those we are talking about the bulbs right
  21. hmmmm a dirt cheap 4x4, now thats an idea
