  1. is that 2nd quote with tyres?
  2. I actually dont know what make it is, I bought it off of ZMANALEX a long time ago I think he said it was a custom one that he used on his cars. I will PM him and ask, but it looks very similar to the AEM one. if its good enough for alex then it will be fine. he knows his stuff and he wouldn't use a piece of garbage. i'd fit it, its fairly sheltered in the wheel, arch, i wouldn't if it sat infront of the grille.
  3. with it in the wheel arch you'll only get hydolock if you go through enough water like a flood. if its the AEM CAI i also think they have a valve in them to reduce the chance of hydo lock
  4. scots also looking at building one as well
  5. stans helping out on this one, cheers for all the offers though guys much appreciated
  6. I'm with you on Days Of Thunder But this Tom Cruise fixation isn't healthy........ i liked cocktail as well, and jerry maguire oh good i have a cruise problem he has made some good movies though. 4th of july was good. him as a assasin in collateral damage (i think that was it) was very good and un cruise like. fat cruise at in tropic thunder is hilarious at the end with the dance. i don't like his personal choices, but he makes good movies
  7. looks like marks in the lead at the moment with paul in 2nd, james then nurrish
  8. From where i'm standing, that pretty much looked like a declaration of love for Tom Cruise..... i like days of thunder as well, but thats because it has cars and nicole kidman in
  9. you should have the same tyres all round. 245/45/18 rear and 225/45/18 fronts camskills are where i got mine from.
  10. yes, very good tyre, i run them on all 4 corners. search will give you loads of info. tyre vredestein ultra sessanta into teh advanced search option and it will pull up all kinds of useful info
  11. i used to love that film, but now all the homoerotic stuff has been pointed out, i no longer feel i can own up to liking that movie
  12. they only posted about entry in to the comp with 2 days to spare, i had no prep time and no photos so didn't bother. planning and organisation obviously not a strong point
  13. just voted nice to see 4 of the 8 contenders are Zeds
  14. cheers stan and attak, much appreciated.
  15. happy b'day, tiger and remember nows the time to make up a card with your personal details on, tie it on with a bit of string round your wrist, so if you get lost, and you can't remember where you live, someone will be able to get you home again. on a positive note, you've gained 64 years of experience, and we're all the luckier for having you here to share it with us. now shut up and sit quietly in the corner
  16. its surprising when you read how easy it is to draw similarities
  17. capricorn please dave
  18. I'm a Capricorn, so i think that make sme better than all of you
  19. also does anyone know what kind of money i'd be looking at to employ an accountant by the hour to sort out books, tax etc
  20. Think i might need legal advice, we have a flat that we rent out, and are having some problems,. anyone who works as a solicitor who migh tbe able to help pelase could you PM me.
  21. as the models go up so does the weight. abbey motorsport have found that the most gains can be got out of the 276 version which also after some good choice mods actually produces more torque than a 313 with mods and a tune. as a stock car difference between 276 -313 is aparently noticable when driving, but between the 296 and the 313 i'm unsure. if you put 3 stock zeds on the track the difference between them is about a gnats testicle (very slight) all are good cars, just find the best example the rest will come. if you into moddibg i'd say go for the 276 as there are more engine parts available more choice on aftermarket parts, (but that will change as time goes on) up to you.
  22. ***UPDATE*** Have just paid swift motorsport for the 9 units. have been packaged up and will be dispatched tomorrow. Time to the UK is unknown, but as soon as he has a tracking number he'll email it to me and i'll keep you all posted on the location. my guess is it should be to the uk by monday tuesday wednesday next week, but will probably take another 4 days to get through customs. i reckon it should be with me the week after, possibly the wednesday. but all hypothetical at the moment
  23. i don't mind the luminous paint just has to be on the right car
  24. done on date of manufacture, JDM UK USDM makes no difference husky, and rawbhp, excellent work, big improvment, definitly think the towing eye would finish it off.
  25. only been 4 and a half months whats a few more weeks glad you got things rolling again, i know through PM's etc how much of an arse ache you've been going through. i'd just like to say thanks to scott as well, who has been excellent, he's kept me informed, and pm'd regualry to keep me updated. and i kn ow he's been doing his best to get things sorted. for the record scott was not at fault here, the issue was completely down to his manufacturer holding things up. well done scott for persevering with this
