i'd go for fuchs silkolene plus motul or royal purple (my personal favourite) opie will do the first 2, and the chilli red store can do the RP

anyone else noticed that tesco has changed the name of their 99 ron fuel to momentum 99?

they do a premium as well but it does feel like some one pi$$ed in it to water it down

also different additives are used depending on the company, its like the colonels special receipe for some of them although BP is only 97 ron i found that very good. tesco 99 is fine as well, never really used shell as it was always the most expensive near me. sainsbury 97 is ok, texaco is shocking felt very lumpy on that stuff.

Is this just a branding exercise and it is a good polish generally or is it to be used only for swirls and not for a car with perfect paint finish? Is it too abrasive for normal use? Looking for something to use on the Zed for normal polishing as well. had it reccomended on other forums, i got it just for doing the swirls, i have lime and prime lite, for general use. but to be honest i don't polish that often. only do it maybe once a year. but as i have a new car; its been well cared for and cleaned regularly, but just not cleaned detail style. and becuase its black it just needs a once over. i also have their megs plastic x to fix the drivers headlight which has a slight misting to the top edge. when i do the clean i'll do a full detail and write it up for the forum. from what i gather the paint isn't as thin as on the nissan but i might be wrong.

dangerous driving i'm guessing he'll be a high insurance risk, will be like having points on the license will have ot declare it for up to 5 years after the event. and the first 2-3 years will be the worst for insurance. might be worth trying some of the ones you find in the back of car mags specifically designed for people who had driving offenses etc.

personally you've not lost out financially on the repairs, so maybe worth letting that one slide. but i would go round and play innocent, tell him some scrot has keyed your car. you've just fitted camera's and if it happens again you'll hunt the fecker down and remove some limbs. hopefully he'll take the hint and leave alone. at the end of the day no proof means no action. if you're wrong you could make the whole family situation worse.
