mobile fitters release the air and move the tyre back; it stays on the wheel but they move it so they can paint all around the lip. once done the beading is re mounted and the tyre re inflated.

autosol is brilliant for exhausts, even worth doing a final finish with megs metal polish which is even finer. as for wheels treat it like car paint, speak to tim at envy for advice on wheel cleaning, things like bilberry spring to mind, but he'll have a better range of options for you. then a good coat of wax on top. i use rimwax. but others are available as well.

if you wanted to do the polished lip of an AM wheel then something like megs metal polish would be better. but still not to be used on the rays.

don't use it on your rays, it will start to strip the paint away as the rays are painted and not bare metal.

i think you need M12 x 1.5 i use ultralite steel internal drive wheel nuts; can be found here http://www.japshop.co.uk/acatalog/copy_ ... -_1.5.html bo reason why they couldn't be painted red. reason i use them is i know they wont shatter and shear on removal and leave me up poop creek trying to take a wheel off whith a fecked nut.
