  2. the new motordyne penis pipes
  3. bit heartless to be honest, and in some cases a little racist, but what ever floats peoples boats
  4. looking really good, i shall be trying it out in july
  5. welcome to the club bose can be fixed; as said above see husky brakes might benefit from a brake fluid change as a few good heat cycles put through them as for the sat nav thing, sounds like a nurrish special, it possibly will play through the stero but you'll have to find the radio frequency that its broadcasting on. get it to play something continously and then slowly cycle the radio frequency and see what its set to.
  6. as for modded cars, it depends on the mods, how well they;ve been done, and if you like them. if it has modded wheels that you like then its a bonus, if it has fugly heavy crap wheels then its a negative. as long as a car is in good mechanical shape and has been well looked for and there is good history with the car and a full service history then there should be no worry.
  7. been a few go through here not my place to say
  8. not heard of anyone using them, but someone obviously has, was about to say it looked like Rik's car on the ramps, but he had a hideous rear diffuser thing on it. and thats not too bad. only one way to find out is to go down and have a look.
  9. your not far from falcon performance, excellent garage would recommend highly,
  10. just tried that out, but had to turn it off as i was getting confused if people were swearing at me in important mesages
  11. I think this may be the same company as the one on eBay as the N1 rear diffuser on that website is the same as the one on eBay. Who is this guy you all speak so highly of? a Grade 'A' feck wit
  12. thats lamby's car if i'm not mistaken and that is a rik special. i got nismo V1 side skirts from rik via another trader (i didn't know they were his at the time) they were sold to me on the pretense of them being a perfect fit; and were bought in the aim to save some money repairing the other damaged set i already had. the fit was horrific and they cost me a fortune in fitting costs. to say i was pi$$ed off with the miss selling is an understatement and as for riks "special" kits i hope his workshop burns down, taking all the abomination kits with it in the fire and save other members from the sh1t that is this maverick cowboy.
  13. a missfire shouldn't cause a crack in the CAT, i would say the crack might have been from a bad knock or a big stone hitting it. its possible, but unlikely that it has over heated and the heat cycle has made the car crack. but none would be linked to the missfire. as for the missfire i suppose it could be cause by the missfire, if the crack is before the o2 sensors i might be seen as a leak or change on the system and might retard the engine, but again that would suprise me if it did. i'd generally put a missfire down to dodgy plugs, or oil in the cylinder or some kind of VAC leak. if they change the cat and the problem goes then you've found the answer. and roberts your mothers brother!
  14. sounds like they aren't straight and they are rattling against something like the diff housing or part of the chassis.
  15. i'm up there for a wedding in august; i'm so excited about going there.....not
  16. and Husky ? sorry shouldn't've said that he;s never driven my car; but we do make love on a regular basis,
  17. up to about 2 - 3 litres i wouldn't be to worried if its always done that, my s2k used to use about 3 litres between services, but then thats what they do on the earleir engines. who ever was getting through 9 litres i would be concerned, but i would want to know what they were putting in the engine. before i made comment. on the zed i would say anthing up to about 2 litres, maybe 3 i wouldn't be to concerned. i think what you have to worry about is if there is a dramatic change from the norm. then yes worry, but if the consumption is the same on every service, then the engine hasn't changed its operating function.
  18. no she wouldn't be allowed to drive mine. the only other person to drive my cars is my wife; and thats because she lets me have boom jiggy with her.
  19. all claims have to be accurate, but how they get them and what they test on is completely up to you. there is no supporting evidence on the ambient temperature between tests, how the machine was calibrated etc. it may well have seen a 19bhp gain but you'll never see it in real world terms. also to me considered is what is the filtration of that filter like, it may be brilliant at letting more air in; but is it still capable of keeping the crap out of your engine.
  20. just change the oil when the service is due? the car will be happy to do 9k between services be it in the uk or abroad? its just an engine, and its not like its a maserati or ferrari. it is at the end of the day just a nissan. and they build good strong reliable engines. have more faith in your car
