  1. my guess would be leaking exhaust or cats not up to temp. if it is a carbon build up get the car taken to a terraclean vendor. works wonders on old cars.
  2. I'm guessing it will be re instated at a later date. I got all excited about trying a new app. and I couldn't.
  3. my phone guided me to use tappatalk on my android phone as it said the forum is compatible. but for some reason it doesn't seem to want to connect. are there others using tappatalk2 as well, any issues? it does say to contact admin if fail to connect.
  4. i think the car is the jaguar prototype with the turbine engine.
  5. most cars the rear end is very tough, compared to the front which is a crump zone. i would expect the TT looks worse at the front than your rear.
  6. i would always reccomend having a range of sources for reference. the more you read the more you know.
  7. lovely colour
  8. even with all the extra play time i had with you guys on here, i'm still finding my feet. i think the biggest advantage would be for mobile views. i must admit though as i don't mobile view the forum much it would be for others to say if its slow to load or not.
  9. something i saw recently at huskies was on the Celica GT4 forum, basically photos are put in, and when you want to look at them you click on the revel button and they become visible. the advantage is for those using mobile viewing means can load up pages quicker as no photos to load. and it also means when reading through or people quoting posts you don;t have to stream through hundreds of photos to get to the next post. thought the idea might speed up page loading, and reduce bandwidth. not sure if its possible on this software, but it looked a very useful tool.
  10. ok 2nd time on a dark video i got worms
  11. it just rewinds the video on mine?
  12. quite literally
  13. jaguar XKR? 4 seats and a useable boot. ok its no hatchback space wise, and the rear seats are for kids or paraplegics. but it keeps the GT style car, has loads of grunt. and enough space to lob stuff in. ok the seats don;t go down, so you'll never be moving the bed with it. but its more than useable. or if you wanted a daddy hatchback audi RS6 avant v8 twin turbo and more space than the titanic...oh and it goes like sh1t off a shovel
  14. baller axle stands i like it
  15. One mans post to a sanitary towel company; and i have to say i kind of agreed with him: "Hi, as a man I must ask why you have lied to us for all these years . As a child I watched your advertisements with interest as to how at this wonderful time of the month that the female gets to enjoy so many things ,I felt a little jealous. I mean bike riding , rollercoasters, dancing, parachuting, why couldn't I get to enjoy this time of joy and 'blue water' and wings !! Dam my penis!! Then I got a girlfriend, was so happy and couldn't wait for this joyous adventurous time of the month to happen .....you lied !! There was no joy , no extreme sports , no blue water spilling over wings and no rocking soundtrack oh no no no. Instead I had to fight against every male urge I had to resist screaming wooaaahhhhh bodddyyyyyyfooorrrmmm bodyformed for youuuuuuu as my lady changed from the loving , gentle, normal skin coloured lady to the little girl from the exorcist with added venom and extra 360 degree head spin. Thanks for setting me up for a fall bodyform , you crafty bugger" what i thought was even funnier was the fact they responded http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Bpy75q2DDow this post was first seen on huskies facebook page after he shared it with the world....from someone else's facebook page. all congratularly phrases should be passed on to husky for being an interwebz god.
  16. and yet it seems to be worth a fortune all of a sudden, he did the same with the E type. the mustang tonight was a copy of the boss 300, and that went for $29000
  17. looks good both spoiler, wheels and calipers but agree not sure black is the right colour for them, i'd get them re painted in bronze, would suit your car a load better
  18. i think i'll stick with not speeding, sounds much easier
  19. that airfield must be challenging to land on as it looks like they built all their hangers on a 45 degree slope. i'm amazed those planes stay in the hangers. must have been tiring work walking up and down all those hills while they took the photos the car does look very good by the way
  20. no wonder there budget is so tight when they pay over the odds on parts. on the XK one they did the prices they were quoting for things was way out. have been watching classic car rescue, and although the 2 lead blokes are cringe worthy, i like seeing the old cars. but the guy doing the valuations has ruined his rep on that show. talk about over value a car.
  21. bit of ply like ioneabee say if its digging in. as for stands for the zed i have a set of draper ones one a ratchet lift, bought off ebay, works atreat everytime regardless of car. as its ratchet lift, there is alot more fine adjustment over the pin and hole method ones. also easier to lift up to fit, as it auto catches as you raise the foot. so if your one handed and trying to do it. theres no fiddly pin.
  22. if i was you i would try and get those spacers off sooner rather than later, then copper slip them and refit them. unless you've done that already. if you don;t you mayfind the spacer will weld its self to the hub and when you come to remove them you'll have to cut them off.
  23. good retort i like your style
  24. i don't see the benefit personally, turning it off at the switch worked just fine for me. and should be more than adequate for road use. of course if you are tracking your car then this might make sense. even then i didn;t find it really intrusive. it might be your steering inputs are too erratic as is your right foot.
