  1. i had one and modified it to take the apexi filter. was very happy with it. looked better in the bay with the carbon lid, and the air scoop was taken from lower down in the grille. had the JWT before hand preferred the typhoon, preferred it even more with the Apexi element on the end.
  2. i can get hold of a paint that is scratch resistant, you can literally run your key down it and it won't leave a mark
  3. there is another system in development which is a replacement fuel. it basically takes microscopic polymer balls impregnated with hydrogen. the balls are so small it looks like a liquid, and would burn in a petrol engine whick wold only need minor modifications to run on it.
  4. Either put the fin back on in the original colour, or spray it black before refitting.

Go to Opie oils, you can put in the car details and it will give you a car specific selection for normal and premium options
  15. Its the only Haynes manual for the car, limited print obviously. If your into the car its actually a good read. lots of good buying and maintaining tips, plus all the options etc, and what vins had what etc.
  16. Bout 2k short, but it depends on how much you do yourself. Could be more if you just hand it to a garage and get them to do it
  17. ^ very true what s1hnk said, but the xkr is probably the only one needing major work if you get the wrong one. And the newer x150 seems faultless. And if you got the 8 not the R, then possibly in budget. Bmw 6 series is a good shout.
