https://www.carscoops.com/2023/09/2024-nissan-z-nismo-cant-match-toyota-supra-in-epa-consumption-figures/ That's just as bad as my V8 ๐ The specs say mine is 18mpg combined, but I am averaging 19.5 ... although I don't drive it likeI stole it everywhere, I don't hang about ๐

I know this isn't Reddit but...

I got it right! ๐

So then given the choice in that same price bracket what would you have? the Bimmer would tempting, but I love my V8 so I would choose the Dark Horse

$80K for the Nismo in Canada, that's going to put it firmly in Mustang Dark Horse territory that comes with more HP and a Manual option. https://www.carscoops.com/2023/09/2024-nissan-z-nismo-prices-leaked-starts-at-65k-in-the-us-ca79k-in-canada/

Anyone here moved out of London in recent years?
DoogyRev replied to GranTurismoEra's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Thatโs in Alberta which is the next province over โฆ we do t have states here โฆlol Yes you can go from Ontario all the way across, hope you have deep pockets, itโs not cheap, but itโs supposed to be one of the greatest train journeys in the world. -

yep thatโs a thing, itโs called the Rocky Mountaineer. You can go all the way across Canada, it actually goes through the town I live in. Itโs got fancy glass roofed carriages so you can see the viewโฆ.. although prob not much to see in the middle of Canada as itโs so flat. My folks went from Calgary to Vancouver on it. -

my other fun population fact is the state of California has a population (2023) of just over 39 million people (documented people that is), thatโs nearly 1.2 million more that the entirety of Canada. California will fit 2.3 times in the province of BC and 25 times in to the whole of Canada if you dont like people donโt move to California ๐ญ I never really thought about how big Canada is until I moved here and I looked to see how long it will take to drive from the bottom to the top of BC. Itโs nearly 24 hours which makes lands end to John o groats seem like a quick trip to the shops ๐ -

Nope, nothing, nadda. You should see some of the pieces of crap on the roads. however if it looks really bad you might get pulled for it. I would estimate that 50% of the vehicles on the road have huge cracks in the windscreen (including our truck) and no one bats an eyelid. 38 Million in Canada .... 67 Million in the UK, Canada is 41 times bigger than the UK ๐ -

Yes Vancouver area. Fun fact .... just BC is nearly 4x the size of the UK but only has 5 million people. Most of Canada's population live on the East coast. Taxes generally around 40% which I think is more than the UK. but you will find that the wages are higher than the UK for the same job. cost of living is prob a bit more also. for example a mobile phone will cost about $60+ a month. My mustang is $1900 to insure for the year, but there is no tax/MOT. -

We have Zero regrets about moving here, the family have thrived in the last 10 years. would 100% recommend!. .... as for the weather that depends where you go, east coast is cold and wet, the middle is freezing in the winter, the west coast is sunny and warm in the summer and not too cold in the winter. and by not too cold I mean we don't get -40C like some areas do. a few days at -10C/-15C but generally its fine. on the plus side you come over here and you can get yourself a new Z .... even a new Nismo Z ๐ -

Hello and welcome from Canada ๐จ๐ฆ eh!

You are partially correct..... I have seen 5 on the road now, 3 had 'N' badges (New driver) but its not fanboys, its fangirls since all were driven by females ๐

Nismo looks goodโฆ. Still not trading the stang for one ๐ https://www.carscoops.com/2023/07/2024-nissan-z-nismo-lands-with-420-hp-better-aero-and-stiffened-chassis/

Good wood is a great show, although last time I went was in 2002. Funny storyโฆ.. my sisters partner at the time was an MP in Chichester, they provide the personal security for the drivers, so my sister and I got access all areas. He was providing security for Murray Walker and his buddy Jenson Button so I got to meet them both. Murray was fantastic really nice man ๐. When all the drivers went for lunch we met in the drivers tent, I literally walked in to Barry Sheene by accident and spilt his pint โฆ. He was very nice about it ๐. We all decided to go for a walk about while the drivers were troughing so my sister and I walked out the drivers tent in front of all the crowds flanked by security โฆโฆ you could hear people going โwhoโs that?โ One little kid ran up and asked for my autographโฆ.. did not want to disappoint so scribbled something illegible ๐ fond memories of that day, we had such a laugh!
