  1. Not going to lie just done the emissions on my shed and was so shocked to how clean it actually was, is this quite a norm for 350s? we have a couple of others that have their Mots done with us and they really struggle to get through even though they’ve been looked after
  2. Whoever did this thankyou because it just made my day
  3. I get 14v on my dash reader, but battery is new so wouldn’t worry too much if it seems a little bit out etc
  4. Hi mate, sound very interesting and will look forward to the updates
  5. Please excuse the F80 in pieces in the background, drilled out the holes so I could fit the Z badge in the middle, wasn’t happy the colour of the badge would go with my colours so I used a stanly knife to remove the chrome wrap back, now it’s ready for both pieces to be wrapped and I’ll report back once this step is done 🙂
  6. Obviously I used a very handy bit of kit to get the edges down much quicker than filing, good old bench grinder aka mr I’ll take your fingers please
  7. Continuation after a dreadfully long week, I cut the perspecs out to match each badly filed and cut hole so I could just about fit the pieces into the trim with a little bit of force
  8. Sorry update on that one I think he sold it, my bad
  9. There’s a chap selling a nice looking 185 exhaust on Facebook atm for £180 I believe he’s based in Leominster, needs a bloody good clean but the fabrication looks very pleasing
  10. Hi mate, it’s nice to start from stock sometimes because then you don’t have to deal with cut corners, I did all by fluids as soon as I bought mine, got my diff oil from tarmac sportz genuine, same as the gearbox oil as I’m a bit of a snob when I comes to that! I’ve never had it but I’ve heard the diff can be commonly the culprit of the clicking noise
  11. Welcome, those wheels defintely suit a black z, just got rid of mine they make want to have kept them now 🤣
  12. Same as what everyone else said, wil cost you the rest of budget to get it sorted
  13. Get into those arches and check them out as soon as you can to make sure you don’t get any surprises! If it’s been looked after should be okay but can’t hurt to be sure
  14. Welcome chap she looks really nice! The enkeis make it look super evil!
  15. After the drilling I used an air circular saw to cut out a pre drawn out rectangle as you can see, and then an air die grinder to widen out the separate squares not too much though, following this I used a small flat file to meet the outer edges of the squares etc- next step will be the Perspex!
  16. So far I’ve realised this material is an absolute bastard if you don’t treat it right, I started off by carefully drilling out the separate squares with a 7mm drill bit, being very careful and letting it make its own path otherwise it just splits and chips
  17. So I saw someone who had done a similar mod on one of the Facebook groups so I thought why not give it a go!
  18. She’s a dream mate, I’ve always wanted an ep3 prem in the cosmic grey because of depth and details but went to the z instead aha, haha need some pink marigolds now hah
  19. And it looks gorgeous btw, I’ve not been a fan of silver/light grey cars for most of my years but I swear to god this definitely changes my stand on the z along with a few other members on here! good work
  20. Is magnum a good way to strip back sealants? I’ve heard fairy liquid is haha
  21. I run hsd monopros with a softer spring rate and I was very impressed with the money otherwise I would have gone with bc tbh
  22. The write up was an absolute pleasure to read what a nice looking car and one so carefully looked after, I have a real soft spot for these think they’re probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing cars in my eyes. GLWS, what ls the rough estimate on price currently?
