  1. I can't go back to hidden tucked rims now, the rice is worth the damage to my bearings. At least until I forget about the extra width, kerb the shite out of them and regret ever installing them
  2. MPS4S > MPS4 > MPSS However, MPS4S aren't available to fit 18". Is the MPS4 better than MPSS ? That's what the "greater than" (>) sign implies
  3. But #4 of the 1st vid was wheel spacers Also his advice was wrong. He said the better alternative to spacers was to buy offset wheels instead, but those have all the same negatives as spacers
  4. MPS4S > MPS4 > MPSS However, MPS4S aren't available to fit 18".
  5. That's without spacers though, right? My tyres are now inline with the wheel arch lip.
  6. Maybe. Arches would need to be rolled regardless if I go for any drop. Wouldn't want a big drop though (maybe only 10-20mm, possibly 30) as it's my daily, plus the roads round here are awful and I don't want to have to crawl over every imperfection and bump or put up with shite ride. Not sure I could justify coilovers over springs when I don't track my Z, but feel free to convince me otherwise
  7. Even better Been looking at the Tein springs, but not sure if I should do the shocks as well. Gotta roll my arches first anyway. What drop can you get without scraping on 25/30mm spacers (with and without rolled arches)?
  8. Need some advice with prepping and painting aluminium. Not a Z body panel, but is to be installed on my Z. So far all I've done is give them a decent sanding, but the aly has a few deeper scratches. Tried doing some research online, but kinda got lost. Do I need to fill these or can I just use a primer? And then what sorta primer would I want (filler, etch, urethane, epoxy)? Can anyone with aly experience / knowledge explain the process and recommend some products (including paint etc)? Cheers
  9. Assuming we don't get distracted and spend the entire journey gawping at each other's Zeds instead
  10. The real test is yet to begin. Only been for a short chilled drive, will have to put them through their paces. Looking promising though
  11. Couldn't do them justice in that light and there was a bush in the way. Plus the car is at a funny tilt, so one side was stuck out and the other stuck in, so it wouldn't give a realistic impression unless you live on a mountain. Looks amazing from directly behind. Makes the tyres appear huge too.
  12. And get us into trouble with the GLO Depends how fast we go
  13. Gotta say (after a stubby of course ), spacers have got to be the most important mod. Really transforms the Z, makes it so much more aggressive. I'm on stock suspension and RAYS. Hard to tell from the pics due to the slope messing up the height, but it looks awesome. Will get some better pictures on flat ground tomorrow to really show them off.
  14. Touché and fixed. Wasn't paying attention to what I was typing and just went with the auto fill / correct.
  15. Ombudsman / ADR can't force anything, but it's an impartial decision on what should be done and can be used to help a court case.
  16. Sounds good. Way too early to say if I will be there, but you've piqued my interest. Any reason why you put this in Regional rather than National Meets? Might be worth getting a mod to move it.
  17. Can't harm to ask if they will do anything. If they refuse, try the Motor Ombudsman. If you paid via credit card, you can try pursue a refund through them. Last resort is court, but not worth it unless you know you will win.
  18. Pretty much a master on this now as I'm in the middle of a battle myself. The Which? guide explains yours rights pretty well.
  19. Don't suppose there is something blocking / stuck on one of the sensors? Can you get someone to test each sensor individually by moving something closer to each one ?
  20. No, he means the non-silver dirty brown things next to those rectangles.
  21. Before and after. "Bit" dirty, and being on a slope doesn't help, but it was dark by the time I was back on flat ground, so I'll have a wash and get some better pics up tomorrow to show the results. Before: After:
  22. Just a few pics from the install, no particular order Excuse the dirt and my crappy brakes, I'll get them sorted eventually.
