  1. Haven't you been hitting the weight for 7 years or did I just make that up? Surely you're huge already by most people's standards?
  2. That's probably cooler. Dunno where I saw the VK45 guy or if he has a log yet.
  3. Didn't someone recently pick up a VK45 to swap in? Or are we talking about the same guy?
  4. Haha, bit less exciting than I was hoping for. You should do an engine swap with the Z
  5. Pot Noodles are expensive and taste like ass. 90g for 75p (Pot Noodle) vs 300g for 45p (Bourbon Creams).
  6. I've been known to just eat a packet of Bourbon Creams as a meal replacement for the day...
  7. Yeah, I know I'll never get a V8 sound from a V6 (uneven firing pattern / no replacement for displacement ), and I don't want something that sounds fake, but I'd like similar features. What's your V8 btw?
  8. I think their marketing stuff just words it in a misleading way. My understanding that it's impossible for them to do anything but modify the voltage input that says how far the pedal has been pressed. If it did anything else, then acceleration would be affected, but it's not. That being said, I can see the appeal, and you can feel the difference due to it being much jerkier. (The extra features sound nice too.)
  9. I did 2 garages and a workshop too, it's perfect
  10. I didn't say it is fine, just that it looks fine... Regardless, show me another house of the same scale with 6+ bedrooms and a turret for £250k.
  11. Appreciate that but if it wasnt them that performed that bodge they might wash their hands of it if someone else has tampered. Might also not transfer with the car to new owners etc. Will have to check with them and the previous owner.
  12. I'd like an exhaust not covered in fox guts first Would rather avoid rasp. I like deep rumbles (Subarus / big American V8) (Not that loud for a daily though )
  13. Make sure to pick up some K&N air filter cleaner and oil.
  14. In theory there is supposed to be a lifetime warranty on the exhaust.
  15. And generally I've found people on here have respected and appreciated my input.... However, it was a controversial subject, and one that from a technical perspective (with all due respect) I think most people don't know much about. We can all make assumptions, and I tried to explain in the OP that I was aware of these and had given them consideration. However I'd looked into it in the past and spent hours researching it before making that thread, so again, with all due respect, I believe I knew more about the topic and my input was as valid if not more so than everyone else's. I countered people's opinions because the research I'd done disproved people's points. The information I'd gathered was from more reliable and better qualified sources. Ideally I'd have quoted sources to backup my points, but I didn't keep a list and it would have taken ages. Instead of accepting that maybe I knew what I was talking about, I received a barrage of insults, and although I'm not one to start attacking other people, I'm going to defend myself and my viewpoint If I think it's right. I'm open to someone proving me wrong, but it needs just that, proof (or at least some explanation / reasoning), not just someone telling me they know better than me just because they've been driving since before I was born. There's a million things you will all know more about than me, but likewise, I probably know more about some stuff than the rest of you, and if I've taken the time to research something, i tend to go all out and really master the subject. That being said, it's probably best not to get into it again, but I appreciate the comment nonetheless, Maybe that's just how they installed it?
  16. Depends on the extent of the renovation though. As I said, the outside of the main building looks fine, it just looks like the interior needs a refurb. Can you just ignore the outbuildings? I asked a question about whether you can change the interior without the same hassle, which you could have given a simple response to... Is it a case of any interior change still has to be approved, or do you just have to follow the guidelines?
  17. Get some pics up of paint / install. Been tempted to pick some of these up for a while. They look much better then the 350Z ones.
  18. Aye, as I mentioned before, it's supposed to be T304, which is decent, but will still rust, though as Aashen points out it might be something crapper. Will probably focus on other stuff for now, was only an idea because it was so easy and quick to try out... Still got louvres to finish, and a load of other jobs that I started planning (steering wheel wrap, rust to sort, paint to fix, tyre letters, new discs and pads, new tyres, interior paint / wrap, fix my Bose sub amp / go aftermarket... the list goes on). I don't think it's a bodge. Apparently it's a full aftermarket CBE from Tony Banks in Leeds. (Hence I know the supposed grade SS.)
  19. Wrong. Wait.....you spend all week moaning that people aren't giving suitable explanations and then you simply post a one word answer without backing it up? (I'm not saying you are incorrect by the way). Just finding you a little bit of a hypocrite. Not much point when my opinion is disregarded due to my age / experience, but if you insist, here's a load of other people confirming my point. https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1358781
  20. Never said it wasn't, just that no trained mechanic has made that diagnosis and no MOT has flagged it. EDIT: But I'm pretty sure it isn't blowing.
  21. It should be "T304 British Stainless Steel of 2mm gauge wall".
