  1. hardest part is soldering 3 wires to a clearly marked area
  2. well I'm running bluestuff in my fronts and are great bite from cold considering they are a full track pad, little bit of noise until they warm but nothing that would turn heads haha, still running them in though as I only do a few miles on weekend now but will update when I've tried them out in anger
  3. me personally can't ever imagine rubbing muck and grit into the paintwork, always prewash to get anything that could scratch the paint off before using a microfiber mitt and two bucket system, and I don't even show the car so you can imagine how far people go when they are particularly cautious about surface dirt
  4. they are the new successor of the sessanta which I used to run on my rx8 and they were unreal for the price, people I know with the vorti on there rx8s seem to think they are every bit as good so I'm looking to try them out myself when it comes to tyre change
  5. 120 for bumpers at redgate lodge and fairly cheap for other panels, supposedly pretty good and I'm looking to get my bumper and bonnet resprayed by them in the new year
  6. I bought mine 4month ago or so which is an 08 but had 98k, which didn't bother me as its in very good conation with all the receipts for previous work and services, only thing I still want to do is the oil galley gaskets and change the cd player as it's buggerd :/ apart from that you certainly wouldn't guess it's milage
  7. if no one takes your copy Taybo can I have it please?
  8. well I pulled up at home and I live on a bit of a slope so I have to make sure the handbrake is definitely on, except this time it almost came off in my hand :/ now I've taken the centre console out and the bar that the handbrake pivots on, has broken at the end where it's flared anyone else had this before?
  9. well I'm always kicking about in my black hr
  10. they claim that it's dyno proven on the website hence my above comment relating to the difference between claiming up to numbers and proved ones
  11. my local nismo centre has two highly regarded gtr techs and they've quoted me 5hours labour (timing cover replacement) they put it as @100ph + vat +78 for gaskets
  12. I want this done on my hr and spoke to my local nismo centre more because I was intrigued by what crazy price they would quote and my God I was shocked! only 5 hours labour @100ph +vat! and if I book it into them for the formal diagnosis I'd get it for free
  13. normally I'm on fence when companies claim numbers but nearly all claim "up to" where as stillen claim a definitive 20whp on the 350z which if it wasn't possible would lead to some very large law suits suing hem for missing representation and false advertising etc etc so in these very rare instances I'd be very confident in getting that number, enough so that it's the reason I'm buying one in the new year
  14. I'd change the battery out myself as it sounds like it might be at the end of its life, decent battery should hold enough charge for well over a week!
  15. haha probably in a rage with all the twats that sit in the outside Lane with no traffic in front of them 😠edit: not me I was thinking of the wrong road :/
  16. not sure why you want to fit smaller brakes?? edit : didn't realise you miss typed compared to the pic haha
  17. hello I'm newcastle aswell with a black hr
  18. I made the exact same transition 4month ago and bought a hr, well worth the 9k I payed only difference is you can't chuck these into corners the same way you would the 8 but I still don't regret the change even with the love I have for the rotary
  19. I have that piece fitted on mine.... I was left with two 12" straights though which have no use :/ mines loud though even with the cats in place
  20. keeping an eye on this dicky cause I live in Newcastle and need them done on my hr aswell :/ be nice to know about your experience and prices with them
  21. or.... put them in my bin if you want?!
