  1. OMG THAT IS MINT! Where did you get it done & how much was it?!
  2. Buy of a random one, but has anyone reupholstered their roof? Thinking of a jap rising sun in black, grey and white.
  3. Yea I thought that too, unless you've got the whole shebang it may look a bit odd! Looks epic on Busters though!
  4. My god what size wheels/fitment is this it's perfect!
  5. Also just came across this in the Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Automotive/Vicrez-Nissan-350z-2003-Rocket-Bunny-Spoiler/B01CZIFRCA/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1490358474&sr=8-4&keywords=350z+spoiler
  6. I just switched my standard paper filters (HR engine so have 2 airboxes) for K&N, they were a tight squeeze but they're in. Don't notice any difference at all in power but I guess they must be better than the paper ones that were in there! The thing i'd consider is can you hear the "brrrr" suction sound from the engine especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust? I've got the ark grip system and I doubt I'd hear any difference if I had two open cone filters in there over the exhausts, but it would look very pretty!
  7. Yea that's defiantly the best spoiler for this car
  8. Believe ones just come up for sale that suits what your looking for bud!
  9. I know what you mean about the build up in the arches - I've only had my Zed a few weeks but ran my finger along the inner arch and oh my god the amount of Crud stuck in there was horrendous! I now try to give them all a good clean out at least every other week. On a side note - I think at some point in its life my cars had a stone chip on the roof and there is a spec of rust there (about the size of a grain of sand or to) but if this worsens over the years I assume the same thing would apply as above, cut a section out and weld in - or replace the whole roof! Or - go the home made convertible route!
  10. I'll be checking mine over the weekend then!
  11. there's nothing to trim really, they just stick way out at the sides and the bodyshop(s) concern was if they pull them in with adhesive/self tappers/ tape the pressure the spat would be under would cause it to eventually break free at some point, they are very rigid and there isn't much give on them. But hopefully these new poly ones may be a bit more flexible and they can do it without too much worry. Quite glad they didn't just shove them on and take my cash to be honest, show's there are so honest guys out there who value their reputation!
  12. Just a quick update, the spats arrived in pleNty if time (awesome service team tarmac)! I popped them down to a small body repair shop who said he wasn't to sure with the fitment, they were quite a bit out and needed a bit more work doing than originally thought. Popped over to a pro bodyshop down the road in the hope they may be able to do it with all their fancy gear and he just said the same thing, he wouldn't want me spending a fortune on having them fitted and possibly not working correctly, so deflated i returned home and sulked like a baby for an hour or two! Quick email to tarmac later and they have some alternatives they are going to send to try instead (more flexible poly rather than fibreglass) so will wait for these to arrive then pop back to the bodyshop(s) and see what they say. #fingerscrossed
  13. Ok thanks. I know my stepdad was looking for one bur I think it was the older model but i'll send the info to him anyway. Stunning car!

  16. Nice! Exciting times for you!
  17. Fab, cheers for the help guys!
  18. yea I thought about this but would probably make more sense to get some coolant anyway as backup for the rest of the year.
  19. I've got a service in about a month so will be getting new fluids anyway but just spotted the coolant is on the min so thought id pop over to Halfords and get some to top it up, turns out they don't stock any for models past 06! Anyone with an 08 HR out there that can let me know which I can use? Had a look through the forum and can see nissan own brand is recommended but just after something to top her up for a few weeks. P.S it's the green type in the tank at the mo.
  20. not sure what the DE is like but the HR is soooooooo pants! It's impossible to read it while it boinging round all over the place, stupid flimsy thing!
  21. Rust rust rust, keep an eye out for it. I picked up my 08 HR a few weeks ago which was immaculate but even that has one or two small specs here and there. To be honest the age they are unless it's been kept in a box it's whole life there's bound to be the odd bit here and there.
  22. Nice - pop some pics up if you can I'm 90% certain of getting one just need the extra push!
  23. Chips with a tin of beans and sausage over the top and 2 or 3 fried eggs on top of that, all in a giant Pyrex bowl and scoff the lot!
