My bros Tesla has 600+ bhp 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. Plus the doors go up on Sundays. He prefers the little Smart EV though. Yes just the issue of TPMS light thats receiving no readings from all 4 wheels. I need them to test with new sensors and go from there. Hopefully they can do it quickly and its not a faulty module and get the MOT done this week!

Yep All sorted removed the fuse following youtube instructions. Ordered a new Bosch battery. Going in for MOT this week

it was just a flat battery...RAC guy wanted nothing to do with fuse removal...Cuz i needed his jump starter incase it didnt start straight after.

Only reason I didnt do this was talk of insurance and co not paying out. Then again if its stolen etc its gone. The blown fuse or tape wrapped solution is an option.

Ive tapped it as is. Bottom cover is still on. RAC never came had to leave the car. Going back this morning. Maybe i can ask him to try that with cover off. Also need divine intervention as theres no guarantee it will release on him removing cover and tapping it Is it okay to order another used one for £86? Its a 000D part or 2011 automatic it was pulled from. Then get the mechanic to fit then remove the fuse. Someone said the fuse can be blown and reinserted after or a tape wrapped around it. Also will I need to replace the BCM (body control module) as well? Or should i just try the replacement lock first? Maybe I can get a mobile mechanic or garage to fit this part.

yeah tried wiggling it up and down and giving it a knock no joy.... Completely dead...there no power. It wont go into ACC I could leave it outside the garage but it probably have wheels missing or something by Monday. Its booked in for Tuesday and warranty might not cover due to MOT. Looking at a £1000 Plus.
