  1. Shock horror https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/19/why-evs-are-causing-a-tire-boom.html
  2. Ive got one installed during Covid for like 400 with government grant. Theyre now £1000 or so for 22kwh. It takes 5 hours to reach 80% on the Kia Niro. Its a good feature to have if selling the house. Plus never know i might see an electric roadster itll be convenient. Plus might be able to rent it out for ppl visiting the area and charge them to charge on the driveway. Ours is pod point
  3. £700 reduction in F Type R insurance. Interesting. Anyone looking for similar car have a look at the rates. Offset by increased used car costs approaching summer
  4. Crazy, need a pin or fingerprint access. Using biometrics. With all the tech that should be standard. When you wish to sell the car clear all drivers using a pin and let the new owner register their biometrics (Finger print and Face ID). The new EVs have internal cameras that monitor your eyes. You can use that for verification to not only deactivate the immobilizer for quick start but also register biometrics. The tech is there already. Especially with Ghost Alarm. Mercedes also had a 4 wheel lock mechanism for when the car gets lifted by a tow truck. Lol
  5. Still available. If anyone is stuck any competent garage can swap them out.
  6. your profile gif goes with the comment. Lol...came across a guy that was offered one (R32) for 19k 2 years ago by his mate. At the time they were mid 30s. Only regret is a 20k Auctioned R34 on Ebay back in 2010. Oh well. A few members do have multiple Nissans
  7. Didnt wana give this guy more views lool but hey quick demo for you all
  8. I kinda guessed signal blockers were old news. With the KiAs being taken the next step would be a database of key codes to circumvent signal blockers. In my area reports of cars stolen with keys protected ... Steering Lock, Ghost Alarm, protect your stuff. Car thief reveals how he can steal ANY car in seconds. Easy thefts made easier
  9. Im assuming France has a standard customs duty similar to UK at 10%. You can import one from a neighbouring country such as Germany or Netherlands which has a high amount of Z. If you know anyone in those countries they can buy it for you and send it as a gift. Check up on the rules regarding customs duty. Get it registered and local IVA and inspection might cost a bit over there. Good luck!
  10. Glad i fitted mine myself a bit of a pain but hey ho. The new owner got to enjoy 5 year bigger bosch battery lol
  11. Car makers told to ditch distracting touchscreens https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/cars/article-13153771/Car-makers-ditch-distracting-touchscreens.html?ito=native_share_article-top
  12. Nissan Z Performance Trim low miles £50,000 door to door plus One day standing at the port with hand on hips! A Nismo i reckon would be £70,000 new door to door. Lol
  13. Missed this. Still available. Where are you based?
  14. What about a 1000cc swapped Yamaha golf buggy. Sorry Porsche!
  15. Up to 2011....i have a spare lock if anyone needs one. Until then happy motoring
  16. He works at the ring as a Ring Driver and Youtuber. Hes been around for a long time on YouTube. Speaking of letting others drive. It was good to let my younger brother drive the Nismo and funny. Never got to drive his Supra 2JZ though. Its good to experience your car as a passenger. Eddie you around next weekend, im just down the road. Can come look at your Z if you dont mind?
  17. 4 door GR86 2025 - 1.6 300HP-350hp According to Forbes and Best Car Japan Toyota GR86 Sedan
  18. Magnets in the bumper and epoxy resin to hold them?
  19. 35 mpg plus on Motorway i found with the automatic being 7 speed. But i wrote a review about owning the Nismo. The above buyers guide still applies as i had a slipping clutch in the first Nismo i had not the second one though
  20. They changed to Exedy after 18. I guess the complaints were too much to handle.
