  1. Can't fault W8BGS for being totally honest with me and offering the refund I'm currently in the process of finding someone/ a method of removing the restrictions on the DVD setting and to allow it in motion but so far can only find near $200 harness' from the states, there must be a cheaper option. I'll probably end up keeping the cables for when I sort this anyway
  2. Halfway house would be ideal as it's 5mins down the road from me Bluewater, like you said Scott has awesome lighting and will be better for shelter should the weather be wet/windy (British summertime 'n' all) so I'm good with either -Scott -Dunks -Steve -GnarlyDingo -Dal -
  3. I'm going to the next one but I'll be on the same stand I was on on Sunday ðŸ‘ðŸ»
  4. I was surprised how many other 370z's were there this weekend tbh, saw more than I did at Japfest last weekend
  5. Had an awesome weekend at Japfest, wasn't planning on going as I hadn't sorted anything due to being busy but received an invite onto the fast car magazine stand with Sky insurance which I couldn't turn down. Had a good look around the 350z UK stand though and there was some pukka cars on stand and congrats for winning best stand of the day Had loads of pictures sent through so a little collection of my favourites
  6. Only been pulled over once and that was about a year ago. I had just had my facelift nismo front bumper fitted and had the numberplate bracket holes filled and smoothed. At this point I was undecided where/how I was going to mount the front numberplate so had it on display on my dash in the windscreen. Had it there for about a week until I was leaving a car meet at a retail park when a BMW estate (which I knew was an unmarked unit) sped across the car park from the other side and followed me and a friend in his car in front out. Followed us for another 10mins or so before overtaking and slotting in between my and my friend's cars. Low and behold on come the 'police, follow' lights in the rear window. Pulled over literally 1 minute from my house one copper proceeded to ask me about the front plate not being picked up by their ANPR cameras where it was positioned whilst his colleague checked the car over. They seemed nice enough guys explaining it can be to my benefit if the vehicle was to be stolen to give the police every chance to pick up the car's registration on any cameras etc. which is fair enough. I explained that I had just had the bumper fitted and was awaiting the plate holder bracket from Nissan which was on backorder at the time (this may have been a wee lie as I knew I would be sorting it in the next few days) They both then proceeded to offer suggestions as to where to mount the plate without drilling into the bumper (one suggested a stick on plate on the lower lip *like a Lamborghini* ) Decent enough guys who just gave me a warning and advised to get it sorted asap as another unit could have easily gave me a fine.
  7. I don't I'm afraid pal, the guy I purchased mine from purchased it directly from Carbonsignal in Dubai and got it shipped over, never asked him how much it cost and I'm not sure who sells them still as they've changed their design from what I can see.
  8. Looking sweet dude Where did you get the custom shaped rear plate from if you don't mind me asking? Looks so much better than the standard shaped one!
  9. I still have it buddy, although it is bonded to the original sport wing. Could do with a respray but yeah it's for sale
  10. Payco my wheel specs are: 19x9.5 fronts ET23 no spacer at the minute and the fit is pretty decent but might play with a 10/15mm to see how it gets on 19x10.5 rears ET23 with a 25mm spacer
  11. Thanks Keyser, I've followed your build of your track toy and I'm always seriously impressed! Hats of to you for tackling so much yourself
  12. I'd love to do the headlights at some point but so worried about them not being sealed back up properly and constantly fogging up. Might have to just bite the bullet at some point
  13. Much appreciated dude! I hadn't even noticed I'd put it in the general section during my newbie days haha!
  14. Had a busy few months sending the car away for a lot of mods stockpiled up over winter to be fitted. Adrian from Torqen sourced me an Evo-r nismo wing so had to get that painted along with my door handles and a new colour for the callipers (over the moon with how they pop with the black) grabbed myself some tarmac sports side diffusers during their sale last year so got round to having these fitted too. Also had a major service done whilst the brakes were in bits including spark plugs, new Hel braided steel brake lines and a brake fluid change Finally I've raised it 10-15mm on the coilovers, just enough to stop me scraping out the bottom of my flexi's anymore but not too much to lose the look. Really pleased with how it's came out, may get some other bits done in the same colour as the callipers but don't want to overdo it and keep it subtle

    Nismo spoiler

I have an evo-r wing waiting to go on mine this weekend. I have a 10 plate GT and I've been told the evo-r wing uses the same 4 mounting points/bolts as the stock GT wing, I know this doesn't help with the 15 plate nismo wing but if that uses the same mounting points as a GT wing then yes it should fit without any work apart from removing all the double-sided tape residue from the previous wing

Not letting me upload any pictures apart from this one but there's a few better ones on my thread here mate http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/99039-my-370z-progress-going-lowww/
  17. Might make two of us dude as I'm not sure if I will have put my Work wheels back on by then, bloody winter and it's salty roads!

    Add on spoiler

I'm having a new wing fitted at the start of March so will be selling my genuine carbon signal duckbill spoiler add on if anyone wants to buy one without the trouble of sourcing it from Dubai. Already bonded to the original sport wing and painted in the 370z black (could do with a respray though as underside is a bit faded)
  19. A bluewater meet in march sometime sounds good to me, my 370 is currently in having a load of new mods fitted and should have it back on the 6th
  20. I'm based in Essex and use Local vehicle solutions in Basildon. Tom the owner builds his own driftcars from scratch and does a lot of work on various jap cars from drifting championships as he is a certified cage maker/fitter. He also used to work on GTR's and has a lot of knowledge on rotary engines. He's done every modification on my 370 and serviced it every year. I'm booked in for my next load of work with him this month and wouldn't take the Z anywhere else except Abbey motorsports http://www.localvehiclesolutions.co.uk/
  21. Apologies if this has been covered before but I'm struggling to find much in the way of spark plug info. My service is due on my 370z and rather than take it to Nissan (who gave me 3 different prices on the same service last year) I am taking it to a decent garage who does all the other work on my cars. I'm looking for any recommendations to some service kits, i.e oil, filters etc. but I'm going to be doing the spark plugs too. Am I right in saying I can use any GTR spark plugs in the VQ37? I've found some plugs on Torqen's site that seem perfect but just wondering if anyone recommends any particular type or place to get them from in additional to service items? Many thanks in advance!
  22. Just received my wing sourced by Adrian from America, exceptional service throughout with constant updates on my order even during the busy holiday period
  23. Definitely a no, I have a 2010 GT and it didn't have drl's. I fitted some evo-r drl's when I changed from the standard bumper to a facelift nismo bumper though
  24. Seen a few 350's floating around Essex from time to time but no members from here to my knowledge
  25. Looks sweet! How much wider did you find the arches were buddy? Your wheels looked like they had quite aggressive offsets to begin with so I'm guessing just spacers were added?
