Well, perhaps it might be worth your while not passing comment on something you have no idea about then. It's like me posting on Mumsnet about how breast feeding really hurts my nipples. Because I do have some idea, and this is a forum, generally meant to comment, however ill-informed. And by little interest, I mean I haven't read every single tech spec around. As a bit of a gadget whore, I do have some idea of the general use and application, but can't go quoting the processors of each watch.... So it has a heartbeat monitor, woop de doo, so does my phone; is it ever used? No. It does card payments - again so do lots of other things, but Apple's is only via NFC which makes it very restrictive. Battery is pretty poor - claiming what, 18-24 hours. Sony's is double that. Apple generally, did very well under Jobs, as you say, did things very well - I have just never liked the overly restrictive nature. Lately (ie last couple of years or so) though, I don't see the spark. eg. They claimed that no-one would ever want/need a 7" tablet, then brought one out. With a poorer screen, less power, and a higher price than rivals.

I have little interest in smartwatches at the moment, to me they seem rather pointless; so unfortunately I can't give you an answer on that, let alone try and work Apple's site to get round all the arty crap

I have for sale this HU, recently removed as I upgraded to something else. Included are all the cables that came out with it, so, as far as I know, should be a fairly straightforward swap. Also included is the microphone, remote and manual This has the ability to fully integrate into your iphone/pod - just need one of these sorts of cables :http://www.amazon.co.uk/Audio-Output-Charging-Adapter-iphone5S/dp/B00PDMVJP0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1426020023&sr=8-2&keywords=iphone+usb+aux+cable I have also included the incartech Alpine patch lead, for the steering wheel controls, although you will need to buy the main unit from ICT - mine said v1.91. More details on the HU here: http://www.alpine.co...n381/ixa-w407bt Asking for £200. Collection preferred, due to nature of the item. Can sort postage out too though, at cost.

Typical apple of the last few years - copy what everyone else is doing, do it (usually) worse and charge double. But it's ok because the isheep will buy it!

The studio bits of Top Gear are filmed on Wednesdays, so presumably that's why it isn't being shown. Hopefully just delaying it a week though.
-
Mine have just appeared. so, other than the website being incorrect ('guaranteed in stock' when they weren't), I have no issues. Rang me to inform of the 1 day delay and they've turned up now

Well I was going to order some on Tuesday, the live chat thing said the brackets were out of stock until Thursday. Ordered yesterday, got a phone call saying they weren't in yet. Just had the despatch email, so not bad.

And to add to the innuendo (although this is rather blatent!): http://www.mtech-engineering.co.uk/#!Drifting%20Style%20Dildo%20Gear%20Knob/zoom/mainPage/imageklf Dildo gear knob -
Might have found one already, but thanks anyway

I'm just after a switch to control a camera, so anything that fits, preferably without a logo, would be ideal. Just looked at that link briefly. Look like carling switches. Mud UK (Land Rover kit supplier) sell carling switches along with a legend sheet. http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/electrical.html

I've got plenty of toggle switches here, was after a rocker that looked fairly OEM, and, crucially, fits in the hole without any/much hassle

MOT Passed. - Didn't expect these advisories though

ha, quality. Mine has noisy exhaust too - but it is a bit ridiculous. The other two are just some tard at the garage being pedantic and stating the obvious -
Has anyone found a suitable switch that will replace the blank adequately?

Going to the Forest of Dean over the weekend, from the Reading area, no-one with one available along that route perchance?

SGS do re-gassing for £36ish

Had a look last night, and it's dual up to the centre silencer. From the other side of that silencer, it's single pipe.
-
Good offer, still the wrong side of London for an instant 'yes' though. Regarding bungs - are they really a permanent solution?
-
Had kept the topics separate to attract people's knowledge of Jasma systems and compatible silencers, but hey... Cheers for the offer Bradders, I was even in Sevenoaks yesterday. I'll see what other options appear, as I'd rather not have to cut and weld new flanges on.
-
My z has a Jasma true dual stainless steel exhaust with decats, and nice as it is, it is rather loud: this is a problem with track days that I am planning on going on, so I need to put something else on there Will a standard backbox (or similar) fit straight on, that anyone knows? And does anyone have one hanging around that I could buy?

My passenger side one didn't work when I got it. Stripped it down, and the brushes were on their last legs - one had gone completely, hence not working. Managed to tease a few more mm of brush out of the housing, and it works fine now. Realistically it is about 2p of carbon, but being a modern car you can't get just the brushes and have to spend stupid money replacing an otherwise perfectly serviceable motor.

If stuff is getting stuck in the pipes, then the pipe has possibly/probably sunk, and leaving a ridge at the join, allowing things to get caught there and build up.
