  1. I think this sums it up its how the car goes about its business and the Z does it in a raw gear know vibrating way...
  2. Seeing as I am having banana arms changed I wondered if it worth doing the front drop links? I can get them real cheap and the labour looks to only be a few minutes to change?
  3. That's all true.. I friend reviewed a clip trophy with a few lamboes on twisted roads for EVO mag and the lam I driver said he tried to shake the Clio on the twisty stuff
  4. I had a bmw 1 series coupe 125i up my arse up all the way to 100 , it was a road with no memebers of the public so no risk to others it was perfectly safe for others, has anyone else had a stanard car keep up with them and made them question their power?
  5. I see your points about the feeling of freedom with the roof off and the the like... It's just me I don't like the idea or loosing the strength of the car only to try and get it back by adding loads of weight in strengthening struts. It just seems another item to wear out and maintain
  6. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/350z/nissan-350z-v6-gt-navigation-2009-58/2446975 Guys just noticed a car that's been on piston heads since I got my car a while back... Has anyone seen this and is the engine attached to the car?
  7. It's. 2003 so it should be cheep to start with without the problems... So many cheep 2003s that don't have problems. Pride in ownership and I would not present this car to someone I would get it fixed and charge 600 extra so it's something more serious disguised as minor one in my opinion I would not touch it why risk it
  8. The biting point on my HR is not high but no lover than my new van? The HRs have a characteristically high point no?
  9. @*!# that looks rough... Your insurance company from the get go sounds good so It's all good and hopefully whiplash coves any shortfalls and the. Some. Might sell my HR in a few months so you never know
  10. A true talent when you consider I was worried about changing my fan deck
  11. Free to offend and your free to be offended... I think the 350z convertible is a car that Ken and barbie would drive, everytime I see a bloke driving one I think he defiantly shaves his legs. Fabric roofs look terrible in a country that only has 2 weeks good weather and the only convertabke I would buy is a hard top e90 m3 or a. S2000. The car is is just to bulky looking to drop the top
  12. brilliant stuff guys so we are averaging 90k on OEM clutch fitted to a V6.... testiment to the design and one owner clutches lasting 120K so the clutch got used to the drivers style i guess.
  13. Hey people I have hear peoples clutches have lasted from between 40-100k with my clutch at 48k with what i think is a low biting point for a HR ( i understand biting points are characteristically high). might sound daft like a dull topic but its expensive to replace and want to get a general idea.... "obviously driving styles change the game some what"
  14. well i have just got some after market arms becuase no one could ding the nock. they are not nissan but i wont be doing more than 5K on them before i sell so i am hoping they will be ok.
  15. My brother done this on his Peugeot 106 made the 1.2 8v sound quite good.. Wonder what the HR would sound like with them
  16. Haha just saw extra thick.. Is this spam
  17. 5w-30 my car takes HR don't put anything else in you'll **** your engine and be saying guys I have smoke out exhaust...looks like lawn mower lube to be.
  18. How do you do this without extending nut threads? Sorry I am a novice
  19. Personally I like to renew anything looking old... Some People spend so much and end up with an eye saw of a car by changing things designed for their car.. If you saw a product designed for any car or yours and could choose from the factory what would you do... I just think the standard car looks great just get things like alloy refurb and respray parts and its a win win you add value to the car. So tacky putting shinny plastic bits on.
  20. If it sounds to good it 99.1%of the time is
  21. Just out of interest what are the benefits of removing a product designed for your car no one else's and to then suck hot air from the engine bay? Just wondering because surly the OEM acts as a ram air system.
  22. yes i have looked at getting aftermarket ones but i am unsure of quality... i need them done as well... you see the problem with finding the problem on the ramp is the ball joint rattle can only be made with 2 toes of road car jerking on a bump road to make the noise so the pry bar is not going to find much.
  23. i got them but might have fitted them like knobber... wiper misses top RHS of the sheild
