  1. I noticed when I checked my ones they seemed lower than usual, ow well my last pair lasted for years and so will these. I have alventi ditchfinders on the front was going to change them to but I like a bit of understeer
  2. Check the heat shield behind the disk is not rubbing, I had this
  3. I have a solution to all your problems, why not just by a 350Z already S/C... that way you will be the winner but i am not sure how long it will take to find one.
  4. JIM there is no such thing as a mistake in this world.... Only lessons because can you honestly say you will do the same thing in years to come, I don't think so just count yourself lucky it's reparable. You should just go back and say inunderstand my car requires a bespoke bleeding procedure that I have printed out for you could you be ever so kind as to help me out and repair my breaks as they are no longer fit for purpose.
  5. 2007 313 HR gt 45,000 Fully loaded, I paid 11k but over paid as I then had to change exhaust, alloys need refurbishing and a tone of stone chips... So yes I would say go for it. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD check the cooling fans are spinning hard, mine I just replaced too, I'm a sparks so I just got new motors for £50.00 from the USAí ½í´Œí ½í¸¢í ½í¸¢ Some HRs left the factory with the RHS cooling fan spinning the wrong way blowing hot air into the rad
  6. The extra strut braces are interesting... Do they increase rigidity
  7. Hey fellow Zers Over speed bumps at low speeds I have a clunk clunk from front LHS, a few garages seem unsure so I was wondering is there any definitive way to find the knock because it's expensive to get it worong, I have seen MOT centres with the rumble jacks maybe these? And if I leave it to get worse could this make it easier for a garage to spot?
  8. I also get it allot but that's because I drive quite slow at times and people expect you to drive fast.... I drove the same on the truck an no one says a thing.
  9. It's because they are old and @*!#."bloody Japanese cars not like my modest MG when I was there age.
  10. I still have the OEM clutch in and I was worried at first because is sounds like a rusty clock at idle, but everyone else has the same Thing so I have been told. I would not worry about it although the Revs jumping about I don't have that.
  11. What area are you in james, if your are north London I would say Ross at JAPEX or cougar because he just knows his way around these cars. I had no receipts with my car once purchased and said to Ross check all the usual suspect things. Your average garage will do all the checks fine but not as well as a specialist. Also do not go nissan unless you have money to burn and like a tick sheet that pulls apart your car.
  12. To be honest a good audio place with do if for a few quid.... Order all the leads you need as I done. One thing you need to keep in mind is you will no longer get voice prompts on your sat nav, your steering wheel controls also nee the correct adapter leads so they will work.
  13. Buying a good car is only half the story.... You then need to find a good garage to keep you afloat and this is forum helps with that massively.
  14. Thanks TT350_ worst case how much would wheel bearings be to replace?
  15. it sounds like hard plastic knocking against hard plastic - its a single knock. *Seems* to come from under car RHS between driver and engine bay, It happens only on speed bumps. Its an annoying hard-plastc-on-plastic type knock that can just be heard when driving along at lower speeds over big speed bumps. Almost like something is flapping loose and hitting against something with little provocation... I've taken the covers off the battery and power steering pods. I've also removed the plastic under tray from the engine. Any ideas on places i can check..? it's slowly driving me nuts
  16. A GTR has 4 seats... the only thing the Z is missing also 5th gear said on the HR review why would you buy a caymen when a 350z is 6k cheaper and faster. although a porsche does look a bit more higher end i think your just paying for that and the 350z is aimed towards people who want porsche performance but at a cheaper price so to conclude unless your buying a top end porsche your just paying for further the refinment of a german car and a different concept of a sports car. Audi R8 1600 HP 0-60 in.....
  17. Nigess stay.... I need a novice as well I always get taken to task by the chaps but they are also a great help, yes ok Grundy gets a little excited only because he is super keen like most of us are í ½í¸œ
  18. I sold one and it bacame a pain in the arse so had to refund, let me know how you get it done
  19. People slate the OEM Tyres but the OEMs on the HR are good, go for Bridgestone RE050A they last for ever and they can be fitted for £130.00 each, i have them on my car and i had ditch finders before and had a similar thing happen at slow speed... the reason why you should go for the RE050A is the car has been designed around these tyres and the tyre wall suits the weight of the car and the ditch finders are @*!# get them off ASAP or just dont drive the car in the wet... yes you might say i drive like a preist but hey it jut takes one time some cocker pulls out and your car is screwed. Also with traction control off the end does not move an inch unless your driving like a twit like I usto before I calmed down. I have posted a link showing what crap tyres can cost you.
  20. A friend of mine has a big green feild i done a few small slides on nothing to crazy just testing the waters which is great fun and no wear on tyres!.....however the car done a 180 and came boack on itself and i naturaly pushed the clutch in, and after this (with ESP OFF) both ESP off and EPS assist lights came on, its not an issue as they did go away after but i was wondering why only once the car came back on itself in reverse and what protects most cars because presumably the engine would turn over in a different direction?
  21. Looks good also i have the same head unit which is brilliant, just make sure the stearing wheel controls still work becuase of the change in head unit and also change the colour of the screen to match the yellow dials
  22. On an E46 m3 cobra want nearly £600 just for the backbox £150 for a Y Pipe seems a bit too cheap.
  23. Had Ross at japex do mine with plugs £100 labour i think, good deal as the HR is a pig to change the plugs on
  24. When I first had my Z I drove like an idiot and got taken to task for it on this forum and glad I did, im getting allot better now on the roads because when I have the lady in the car I never drive fast and In doing so I began to appreciate the cars calmer side.... is like diet relapse from time to time
