  1. Must just be the pics then. Any future plans for the car?
  2. Like what you've done, especially with the engine bay Not a fan of the steering wheel but each to their own. Wheels look dark in some pics, have they been refurb'd?
  3. I agree (although the lambo is really nice in the flesh too!) Sorry not much help
  4. as Mothwash said there are quite a few of us in the area. I'm just along the coast in Shoreham but come your way often so will look out for you next time. Enjoy the zed!
  5. Nice I only caught a glimpse of the silver one, how much do they want for it? When I first spotted the orange one I thought it may have been you but up close could see it wasn't yours. I'm sure your time will come and you'll be spotted eventually
  6. Spotted in the retail park (curry's, pets at home... etc) yesterday at about 5. Car looked good Unfortunately I was in the Saxo so doubt I would have been spotted (every time I see a zed I'm in the shed!) Topped of a good couple of days of zed spotting. Black HR roadster in Shoreham on Sunday, matt blue wrapped zed on white BMW alloys in Christchurch yesterday and the ginge and a silver zed for sale in Chichester!
  7. not too far from me I have the revup in my zed and I tested an early DE before I got mine. As Ekona said I couldn't feel the torque difference at all. So imo it comes down to whether you'd prefer a HR or DE, but to be honest I think you'll be happy with any zed, they are great cars!
  8. I vote black, keep it nice and subtle so it doesn't draw attention away from the engine cover and other dipped bits
  9. I would love to attend but seems all the spaces are taken, so can I start a reserve list? Reserve list: 1) terry06
  10. Sounds like a great project. Certainly a bit different! Looking forward to updates
  11. Glad you've decided to keep it, means I get to see it at some more meets! Love the car but the wheels are perfect
  12. Looking good Given me a few ideas for my GT4 and helped me decide to keep the alloys (looks so much better on the Tein's and spacers) I agree that something needs doing with the gaiter. It's only a small thing but would annoy me. Unfortunately I can't advice on what to do as I still have the standard knob but I can't see there being a problem with doing what you suggest. Will keep my eye on the thread!
  13. Just got mine through. Some great pics and great zeds. I will have to enter a photo for next year
  14. Another fan off the wheels. Great design and the colour looks spot on against the black body
  15. I'd love to do it to mine too. The sense of achievement at the end would be great. But like you say it's not cheap and since I am saving up for other things it will have to remain a fantasy for a good while. I hope you get the funds together to go ahead with it
  16. Looks a nice example and I wouldn't say it's massively over priced but I paid that for my GT4 (which seem to fetch a slight premium) with only 36k and in very good condition (apart from the wheels). Dealers always seem to want a bit more than a similar private sale so may find more for your money in private ads
  17. Love this car, great mods so far and looks so clean. New exhaust looks bet it will sound great with decats! Cant wait to see if/when you start the FI build. Will you be doing the work yourself?
  18. After accidentally purchasing some cheap decats I am now in need of new gaskets and bolts to fit them. Does anyone sell a 'fitting kit' with the bits I need or is a case of buying things separately?
  19. Great choice for the lights. I would have gone for the same options if I was you. One of the best zeds on here, keep it up!
  20. Looks stunning. I should stop looking though, giving me ideas for mine
  21. Have you seen a Temper 'in the flesh'. You clearly like bright coloured cars so would probably love the Temper - but then I am biased. May struggle to find one though ... No I have mate only sunset. It had crossed my mind as well as a yellow gt4 too but not sure I like the yellow. Think there's a temper for sell atm but it's quite far from me =/ Yellow GT4 all the way!! Not that I am biased or anything... The yellow looks much better in the flesh. When I saw pics I wasn't sure I liked it but when I went to view mine I had to have it! Good luck with the search
  22. I am relatively new to the zed having owned it a few months and came from a small FWD car with less than half the power. I have had no issues with driving and never felt close to loosing control. The only time I have seen the traction control light flash was pulling out of a T junction in the wet with a bit too much right foot not long after I got it. So as others have said you'll be fine driving it as you would any other car, just be a bit mindful in the wet. Even then the traction control keeps things in order
  23. Mine's an '05 on almost 38k so only 3.8k/yr! This will change in my ownership as I have already put 1.5k on in my less than 3 months ownership
  24. Will give it another go tomorrow. Could be the salty air but i doubt it as it didn't look corroded and only had it a few months. Hopefully a load of wd40 will help loosen it up a bit
